A “nude” photo of an Australian model has caused fans to double take after many spotted an unexpected detail in the snap.
Jesinta Franklin recently collaborated with Australian tanning brand Sontse on a campaign to promote sun safety during National Skin Cancer Action Week.
Alongside a message calling on her 371,00 followers to get their annual skin check, the mum-of-two shared a black and white photo.
In the snap, Franklin – who is married to AFL star Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin – can be seen posing topless, with one arm covering her breasts as she leans against a wall.
“Regular skin checks are so important, skin cancer is often the forgotten cancer, which is why I am proud to undress for sun safety with @sontse_aus,” she wrote.
“I really hope that if like me you had put off or forgotten to get your skin checked this year, this has caught your attention and put a skin check at the top of your priority list.”
The message has certainly caught the eye of Franklin’s fans, with many pointing out they’d noticed something in the nude snap that caused them to take a “second look”.
“Had to do a double take …. wondered why Demi Moore was in my feed,” one wrote.
“Beautiful pic and I too took a second look thinking you had posted a pic of Demi Moore,” another agreed.
As another said: “I thought you were Demi Moore for a second.”
“You look like a young Demi Moore,” someone else mused.
“Also wanted to say your giving young Demi Moore vibes in this pic,” someone else chipped in.
Others praised the star for “sharing this important message”, with some sharing personal stories of how a skin check saved their lives.
“My regular skin check 15 months ago detected melanoma, so it is extremely important to get this done,” one said.
“My sister’s funeral is tomorrow – she died with liver and brain metastasis which stemmed from a primary diagnosis of a melanoma in 2017. Thank you for sharing this important message,” another bravely revealed.
Franklin isn’t the only Australian celebrity to take part in the campaign, which sees Sontse donating 5 per cent of all profits to Skin Check Champions, a not-for-profit charity who help with early detections of skin cancer.
Former WAG turned podcaster Phoebe Burgess also took part, sharing a black and white snap of her bare back to the camera while wearing nothing but a pair of loose-fit jeans.
“Some causes are worth getting UNDRESSED for … this time it’s sun safety,” the 33-year-old captioned her post.
Former MAFS star Jules Robinson also took part, sharing a similar black and white photo to Jestina Franklin’s, which showed her covering her breasts with one arm.
“I’m embarrassed of what I use to do to my body when it came to having a tan,” the mum-of-one wrote.
“Living in my apartment in Sydney on top of a 24 hr self service sunbed shop in 2001, I was in there regularly to get the ‘perfect’ dark tan!”
