MODEL Erin Wasson has sparked weight loss concerns after Instagramming a picture of herself clad only in underwear with her ribcage clearly showing.

Captioned ‘Live a little’, the picture clocked up 3500 ‘likes’ in as little as two hours, but was also met with comments such as “so skinny” and “Ribs ... eat a little!”

The 32-year old model, who claims she has was a tomboy at school, has previously stated she’s just always been thin.

“I remember I was tormented for being flat-chested and really skinny, and I had really short hair because I would go to the barber and get my hair cut with my dad, so people always thought that I looked really butch,” she told Fairfax Media.

“I think, more than anything at this point in my career, my responsibility is to stay strong — mind, body and soul ... I’ve always been an athletic person, I’ve been blessed with good genes from my mum and dad and I’m going to ride that genetic wave for as long as I can.”

This isn’t the first time the supermodel has been criticised for her weight. She is a regular feature on ‘Stars who are too skinny’ forums, with the Huffington Post calling her “scary-skinny” in 2012. Radar Online included Wasson alongside Heidi Klum and Demi Moore in a list of too thin celebrities, acknowledging that “models are paid to be thin, but sometimes catwalk crawlers go too far.”
