English glamour model Alicia Douvall lashes out at plastic surgeons calling them acid attackers in white coats
GLAMOUR model Alicia Douvall has had more than 350 plastic surgery operations and can't smile at her baby. Now she has lashed out at the doctors who let her go ahead with the surgery.
AN English glamour model who has had more than 350 operations in the pursuit of perfection has lashed out at plastic surgeons calling them acid attackers in white coats.
Alicia Douvall has revealed she has had that much surgery she wasn't able to smile when her youngest daughter Papaya was born 16 months ago.
The 34-year-old, who is known for her kiss-and-tell affairs with celebs including music mogul Simon Cowell and Simply Red frontman Mick Hucknall - says she has spent more than $1.4 million on surgery such as boob jobs, facelifts and even toe shortening procedures.
Now she says she wants to warn other women about the dangers of plastic surgery, revealing her addiction has cost her more than just money.
"What I have done breaks my heart. Imagine holding your baby daughter for the first time and not being able to smile,” she told The Sun.
"I have been so selfish. Now my dream is for Papaya one day to see her mummy smile back at her for the first time.”
She also compared herself to English model Katie Piper who was disfigured when acid was thrown in her face in 2008.
"I am the same as her, it’s just that my attackers wore white gowns and I paid them to do it.”
Ms Douvall says she is a plastic surgery addict and has been in rehab on at least three separate occasions and wishes she never had any of it.
She said: "I look at pictures of myself before I had surgery and realise I wasn’t bad looking. I wish one of those doctors had told me to get help.
"‘I have had a lot of reconstructive work done by very good surgeons but now I look in the mirror and all I see is scars.”
She has vowed off further surgery, bar one exception, after undertaking a desperate procedure to correct her face which involved breaking her jaw in two places and having her ears cut off to allow her skin to stretch over her skull.
Her final surgery will involve a procedure to stop her face drooping.
