MAFS’ Martha looks unrecognisable in old photos taken before plastic surgery

The Married At First Sight star previously admitted she’s had plastic surgery — but recently unearthed old photos have left fans shocked.

Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis has made no secret about her love of cosmetic enhancements.

But a photo of the reality dating show contestant back in 2011 has emerged — revealing the true extent of her makeover.

In photos taken by NewsCorp in 2011, the Kim Kardashian lookalike looks dramatically different.

Her nose is the most notable difference in her appearance, seemingly fuller in the snap of her taken at a Melbourne cafe for a news article about the hike in the city’s coffee prices.

Due to the stark contrast in her looks from then to as we’ve seen her on screen, fans are shocked.

“She looked so different before she had plastic surgery,” one person commented on Facebook.

“OMG did not even recognise her,” another said, while one branded her “unrecognisable”.

Others thought the 30-year-old was “gorgeous” before she had work, suggesting she didn’t need it.

“She was beautiful before,” someone said.

“I think she looked much nicer before she turned into plastic,” another remarked.

“I feel sad for any woman that isn’t confident in her own skin, that she feels she needs to alter herself to be ‘beautiful’,” someone else said.

Another added: “She was gorgeous before.”

On one of the first episodes of MAFS , Martha revealed to her husband she does “whatever” it takes to look good.

“I like to look good and whatever it takes so I’ve definitely had some plastic surgery,” she told her husband in a recent episode of the popular reality show.

The Greek native appears extremely comfortable in her enhanced skin, regularly sharing bikini-clad photos on her Instagram account.

She’s not the only person on the Channel 9 show that has admitted to going under the knife or having injections to boost their natural looks.

Susie has said she’s undergone a breast enlargement while Jessika has had a smile transformation with her pearly white veneers.

Meanwhile there’s heaps of speculation about Ines Basic — who has been on a transformation journey since leaving the show. She has yet to confirm or deny if she’s undergone any tweaks to her natural beauty.
