Nova’s Michael “Wippa” Wipfli will have raked in an extra $630,000 in less than half a decade if he gets the asking price for his newly-listed Sydney digs.

The 39-year-old radio host, who co-hosts a popular radio program alongside Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald on Nova 96.9, has just put his four-bedroom home on the market.

The house, which he shares with wife Lisa and sons Theodore and Jack, is located in the tiny and tightly-held suburb of Queens Park, a stone’s throw from Centennial and Moore Park and the Bondi Junction shopping hub.

It has a hefty asking price of $2.5 million, with the couple first snapping it up back in 2014 for $1.87 million.

If the dwelling sells for $2.5 million, it means the pair will make $630,000 in less than five years after only minor renovations, including repainting the house and remodelling the deck, realestate.com.au reports.

The architect-designed 1920s-era two-bathroom home on Rawson Avenue boasts a 159sq m block, a Caesarstone island kitchen, integrated Bosch gas appliances, hardwood floors, a large laundry and high ceilings.

After the last owner undertook massive renovations by adding a second level, the house now comes with an open and spacious living, dining and kitchen area.

The residence is being listed through Phillip Pantzer Donnelley’s Nick Quilkey and Debbie Donnelley, and Mr Quilkey said it was ideal for downsizers and young families hoping to upsize alike.

The home will go under the hammer on June 4.

Meanwhile, the Wipfli family is planning a move to ritzy Vaucluse in the city’s leafy eastern suburbs so their children will be closer to their schools.

Realestate.com.au reports the couple have already narrowly missed out on several properties in that suburb.

Wipfli, a popular comedian and radio personality, has co-hosted the program that made him a household name with “Fitzy” since 2011.

That year, the pair were nominated for the 2011 Australian Commercial Radio Awards in the best on-air team, Metro FM category.

They have also appeared on Shark Tank and co-hosted the Nine Network show 20 to 1 for one season.
