The ink on her divorce papers with Ben Affleck had barely dried before Jenifer Lopez pulled off a huge $28 million power move.
Jennifer Lopez reportedly snapped up a sprawling estate just weeks after she finalised her divorce from Ben Affleck.
According to People, the “On The Floor” hit maker, 55, forked out $US18 million ($A28 million) on the new digs near Los Angeles.
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer has been on a house hunt since last year when she began looking for a new home just as her marriage to Affleck crumbled, the outlet added.
Lopez and the Oscar winner, 52, settled their divorce in January, less than five months after she filed to end their two-year marriage, Page Six reports.

According to Realtor, Lopez purchased the five-bedroom mansion via a trust that is linked to her business manager.
The property is made up of a main residence, a guesthouse, pool house, and a five-stall barn complete with a tack room and a private equestrian arena.
Inside the main home there are five en suite bedrooms, including a “sumptuous master suite,” which boasts dual walk-in closets, a wet bar, a private balcony, and an incredible bathroom worthy of a five-star resort that boasts a steam shower and an enormous bathtub.
Described in its listing as being “one of the most unique, special and private properties in all of Hidden Hills,” the home also features a private movie theatre room, a gourmet kitchen, and a massage room.

Despite her rumoured new house purchase, Lopez’s $US68 million ($A101 million) Beverly Hills mansion which she purchased with her ex-hubby continues to sit on the market.
The exes bought the property for an eye-popping $US60.8 million ($A90 million) in June 2023, a year after tying the knot in Las Vegas. The pair married again in Georgia by August 2022.

News of the “Jenny from the Block” singer’s purchase comes just one day after Affleck broke his silence on the pair’s split, saying their divorce was “drama-free.”
The actor told GQ that fans’ “eyes would glaze over with boredom” if they “sat down and talked to” him about his seemingly “sensational” life.
However, he did admit that he is “more reserved and private than” his ex-wife and that they did not “always have the same attitude toward” being in the public eye.
Still, there are no hard feelings between the exes.
“You’ve got to own what you knew going into any relationship,” he said. “It’s not like you can watch that documentary and go, ‘Oh, now I understand the issues that these two had.’”
Affleck added that the “Maid in Manhattan” actress is “somebody [he has] a lot of respect for,” and he does not want to “suggest” that “the line between public and private life” led to “negativity or judgment.”
“I have nothing but respect [for her]. I guess there’s a tendency to look at breakups and want to identify root causes or something. But honestly, like I said, the truth is much more quotidian than probably people would believe or would be interesting,” he added.
When pressed about the reason for the split, Affleck refused to divulge specifics because it felt “sort of embarrassing” and “vulnerable.”
