Celebrity couple Hamish Blake and Zoe Foster Blake have followed the lead of a number of fellow well-known personalities, after spending more than $4m on a stunning home retreat south of Sydney.

The purchase of the luxury Jamberoo home, about an hour and a half south of Sydney, will further shine the spotlight on the south coast after region recent purchases in the area by Deborah Hutton and Gerry Harvey.

Hamish, the host of Lego Masters Australia and his author wife Zoe, bought the stunning 6-bedroom, five-bathroom home for $4.26m, CoreLogic property records have revealed.

The home last sold for $566,000 in 1996, with the vendors undertaking significant renovations since then.

According to the listing the “prestigious estate is approached through some of the most stunning scenery in Australia”.

The couple spent $4.26m on the retreat.

That last changed hands in 1996.

It’s a 90 minute drive south of Sydney

Very secluded and quiet.

Plenty of recreation options.

It’s another big addition to the pair’s real estate portfolio after out they spent $8.925 million on a Vaucluse home in Sydney’s prestigious eastern suburbs after the family of four quit Melbourne in late 2020.

According to The Australian, the Blake family’s new south coast home had been a long-term retreat for media personality Lyndey Milan, and her partner, the late John Caldon, an investment-banking leader at Macquarie Bank.
