US President Donald Trump‘s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, has been named as Fox News‘ newest host.

The media personality’s new role will see her anchoring her own hour-long, “My View with Lara Trump,” which is scheduled to premiere on February 22.

The 42-year-old — who is married to the president’s son, Eric Trump — is no stranger to TV.

However, the network has yet to confirm where the show will be filmed.

Fox News’ studios are in New York City while Lara and her husband are based in Jupiter, Florida, having quit their Manhattan home and relocated to the Sunshine State with their two children in 2022.

The couple purchased a sprawling mansion inside an “exclusive” gated community within the Trump National Golf Club for $US3.2 million in 2021.

According to Realtor, the home is now estimated to be worth upward of $US7.7 million ($A12.2 million).

Given the vast studio spaces that Fox News holds in New York City, it may be preferable for Lara to tape in the Big Apple — where she and Eric own a sizeable penthouse property inside of one of Trump’s numerous residential buildings.

When the couple relocated to Florida, they opted to lease out that apartment, with records indicating it was last on the rental market for a whopping $US17,000 a month.

It is currently unclear if the same tenant is still living there.

At the time, Eric told Forbes: “I’m out of New York. Leased my apartment, moved my family, put my kids in a new school in Florida.”

The four-bedroom apartment is made up of three separate units.

According to ProPublica, Eric purchased from his father in 2016 for well below market price, paying just $US350,000 each for two of the dwellings — which was about half of what they had been listed for.

He then combined all three units into one enormous abode, which served as his family’s primary residence until 2022, when Lara and Eric followed in Trump’s footsteps by naming their Florida home as a permanent base.

In 2021, Lara and Eric picked up their luxury estate in Jupiter for $US3.2 million. The property is said to be the largest home in the exclusive Eagle Tree gated community at Trump National Golf Club.

With four bedrooms and five bathrooms, the Tuscan-inspired design opens to a “spectacularly appointed” interior.

The property is the epitome of elegance thanks to its two-storey, coffered ceilings; crown moulding; marble flooring; and Venetian plaster.

The gourmet kitchen has a marble island and Wolf, Sub-Zero, and Miele appliances.

A spacious floor plan incorporates a formal dining room, a living room with a fireplace, a wood-panelled office, and a wet bar with seating.

The massive master suite comes with French doors that lead outside, as well as dual closets, a luxurious bathroom, and a safe room.

Outside, the grounds include a large pool, a cabana with a bathroom, and an outdoor kitchen, perfect for hosting a family barbecue.

The mansion had last been listed on the market in December 2020 for $US3.3 million before Lara and Eric bought it, the home was last sold for $US2,427,000 in 2013.

The property is about 8 kilometres from Admiral’s Cove, the neighbourhood where Don Jr and his former partner, TV personality Kimberly Guilfoyle, purchased a $US10 million property in 2021.

Don Jr’s ex-wife, Vanessa, and their five children also reportedly live in the upscale area.

The exclusive locale is about 32 kilometres from former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club, where he and his wife, Melania, moved after he left office.

Just down the road, Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump, and her husband, Jared Kushner, have a $US24 million ($A35 million) megamansion on Indian Creek Island.

In 2019, the president began the Trump exodus from New York City by tweeting: “My family and I will be making Palm Beach, Florida, our permanent residence.

“I cherish New York, and the people of New York, and always will, but unfortunately, despite the fact that I pay millions of dollars in city, state and local taxes each year, I have been treated very badly by the political leaders of both the city and state.”
