Gisele Bündchen plans $18m baby welcome
Supermodel Gisele Bündchen is making her life baby-ready for her third child, via a custom-renovated waterside home.
Supermodel Gisele Bündchen is making her life baby-ready for her third child, her first with her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriend Joaquim Valente, via a newly renovated luxury mansion.
The news comes exactly two years to the day after she and NFL legend Tom Brady, both filed for divorce after 13 years of marriage. The couple share two children, Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11.
People reports Bündchen, 44, and Joaquim, are already planning to welcome their newborn in the supermodel’s newly renovated, $US11.5 million ($17.5 million) Miami mansion.
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel purchased the home in 2022, shortly after her divorce, and then spent months renovating.
According to Realtor, should the property not prove suitable, Bündchen has plenty of other homes in her portfolio where she could potentially welcome her child.

Swanky estate
Built in 1981, the five-bedroom Florida abode features large living spaces, massive terraces, and stunning views of a wide waterway and Indian Creek Island — where Brady owns a newly-built megamansion.
Other highlights include a primary bedroom on the ground floor with dual baths.
There’s also a home theatre, an office, a gym, playroom, and large eat-in kitchen that opens to a patio and pool, the listing notes. The property comes with a brand-new, oversized boat dock.
This home also includes impact windows and a two-car garage.
The listing declares it the “perfect” family home, located on a cul-de-sac, and minutes from the ocean, Bal Harbour Shops, and restaurants.

Other ritzy real estate
The fashion model and cookbook author has other options when it comes to her property portfolio. She also owns an equestrian estate in Southwest Ranches, Florida, which she picked up for a hefty $US9.1 million ($A13.8 million) in 2023.
And it’s where she stayed while the renovations on her waterfront abode were completed, according to the Daily Mail.
The property features 10 horse stalls, a tennis court, and a soccer pitch.
The main home was originally built in 1976 and has been extensively renovated into a sleek space.
The outdoor living area features an infinity pool with a hot tub; and a kitchen with a hibachi, pizza oven, barbecue, and wine fridge.
There’s also a guest apartment on the property.
Cozy cottage
In addition, Bündchen owns a second, smaller Surfside property that she picked up for $US1.25 million ($A1.9 million)
The cozy cottage has three bedrooms, an open kitchen with an oversized marble island and breakfast bar, and a spacious primary suite.

As well as her homes in the U.S., Bündchen also owns a property in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica.
Bündchen is understood to make regular trips to the property, where she has frequently been seen with Joaquim; however, she has gone to great lengths to ensure that details about the home remain as private as possible.
The supermodel purchased the home with her former spouse for an undisclosed amount, but it is understood that she received the property in their divorce settlement.
Lavish living quarters
While married, Bündchen and Brady owned some lavish homes, including a huge compound in Brookline, Massachusetts, which they sold after Brady left the New England Patriots for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
They also had a mansion in the upscale Los Angeles neighbourhood of Brentwood, which they sold to Dr. Dre for $US40 million ($A60.9 million) in 2014.
