Elon Musk searches for Bel-Air home in LA
Tesla and social media billionaire Elon Musk has reunited with ex-partner Grimes in a bizarre move set to involve his 11 children.
Billionaire Tesla founder Elon Musk and his former partner, Grimes, are reportedly on the hunt for a mansion in Los Angeles’ Bel-Air neighbourhood, where they can live with all 11 of his children, as well as their three mothers, according to Realtor.
It comes days after rumours swirled the tech billionaire had purchased a trio of mansions in Austin, with a view of having his “children and two of their three mothers occupying adjoining properties.”
A media source has now reported that the businessman and his musician ex—who share three children—have been viewing a number of properties in Los Angeles, with the aim of finding a property that they can “share” with his entire brood.

An unnamed insider told the People outlet that the ex-couple, who are not currently thought to be in a relationship, “went house hunting” in the upscale neighbourhood, adding that Grimes, 36, also looked at a property in Upper Bel-Air.
The move suggests that relations between the duo have vastly improved since last year, when they became embroiled in a bitter custody battle over their three kids, X Æ A-Xii, 4, who is known as “X;” Exa Dark Sideræl, 3, who is known as “Y;” and Techno Mechanicus, who was secretly born in 2022 and goes by “Tau.”

Details of the status of the case are unknown because the court records pertaining to it were sealed.
When rumours about the mysterious family compound in Texas began swirling, Musk dismissed the claims, labelling stories of the extravagant estate as untrue.
“I don’t own, nor am I building a compound in Austin,” Musk told a media source.
Despite his net worth topping $412 billion (US$271 billion), the legendary inventor insisted that no such expansive dwelling existed.
Fascinating stories of Musk’s ambitious visions have floated before.
Last year, whispers of a Texan “utopia” emerged — a town named Snailbrook near his bustling SpaceX and Boring Company campuses.
Musk acquired over 1416ha just outside Austin for this ambitious plan, envisioning it as a “utopia” for employees to live and work, as reported by the Wall Street Journal.
