The last Sydney property of the retired Santa Monica-based actor George Lazenby has recently been sold at Crows Nest for $2.45m through O’Gorman & Partners.

The 85-year-old, who had the shortest tenure as Ian Fleming’s fictional British secret agent James Bond, purchased the Sophia St townhouse in 1986 for $60,000 with his then wife Christina, who was bought out in 2013.

The four-bedroom, one-bathroom Torrens-title townhouse spans three levels with open spaces at the front and rear and a garden running alongside.

There was a single carport.

Lazenby had previously owned on Middle Harbour at Cammeray, having bought in 1979 for $215,000 with Christina. It was bought from actor Lorrae Desmond and her husband Alex Gorshenin, a Macquarie St specialist.

They sold the waterfront in 1985 for $681,000 to Thiess Toyota.
