Coronavirus NSW: Full list of venues hit with COVID-19 cases

The list of venues that have been visited by COVID-19 cases is continuing to grow, with NSW recording 17 new coronavirus cases yesterday.

Three Newcastle venues have been forced to close for cleaning after an infected Sydney resident visited the area.

Anyone who visited Hotel Jesmond from 7pm to 9pm on July 29, Wallsend Diggers from 9pm to 11pm on July 29 and 30 and Lambton park Hotel from 8pm to 9pm on July 30 must immediately self-isolate at home for 14 days and get tested for COVID-19.

The advice comes after a Sydney man in his 20s was diagnosed with coronavirus after visiting the venues.

People that visited these venues after these times do not need to isolate but have been urged to get tested immediately if symptoms arise.

These venues have now been thoroughly cleaned and so there is no ongoing risk.

A court house in the Lake Macquarie area was also forced to undergo a deep clean after being visited by another infected Sydney visitor.

Anyone who attended Toronto Court House between 7am and 2pm on July 27 should be on the look out for symptoms, even mild ones, and get tested immediately if any occur.

“The gentleman stayed at a private residence and all of his close contacts have been identified and are in isolation, so there is no ongoing risk to the community,” Dr David Durrheim, Public Health Controller for Hunter New England Health, said.
