Commonwealth bank restores services after meltdown wreaked chaos, leaving customers penniless
COMMONWEALTH Bank says services have finally been restored after its latest meltdown, which left customers unable to access their cash this morning.
THE Commonwealth Bank has finally fixed the glitch behind its latest meltdown, leaving customers again unable to access their cash.
Credit cards, net banking, mobile banking, ATM, Bpay and EFTPOS services were all experiencing problems when the company experienced major tech issues earlier today.
The bank alerted customer on social media around 11am that full services were returning to normal.
It has now released a similar statement, apologising for the inconvenience and inviting customers to keep track of the issue at the bank’s website.
Earlier, customers were unable to pay for their breakfast, fuel or groceries or get cash out and there were reports that money paid for bills wasn’t going through.
Taking to social media Commonwealth Bank said they were trying to sort out the issue as quickly as possible.
Their response was little comfort for customers with many saying they had had enough.
Aleisha Tara commented, ‘AGAIN really ??.time too move i think’ while Inderjot Singh Ahluwalia said ‘ I will be moving my accounts to some other bank’.
Others took to Twitter to vent their frustration.
