Zac Efron signs on to new Aussie project with Dannii Minogue and Kyle Sandilands
After living and working in Australia for several months now, Zac Efron has signed on to another project with Dannii Minogue.
Zac Efron has signed on to another project while living in Australia, this time produced by his friend Kyle Sandilands and linked to Dannii Minogue.
The 49-year-old KIIS FM radio star revealed exciting the news on the Mediaweek podcast last week.
Sandilands explained that his company, King Kyle Group, had recently gone into business with a company that organises live pets for children’s entertainment.
The production company will be creating a promo cartoon based on the animals.
“Zac Efron is going to be one of the voices, Dannii Minogue will be one of the voices, I’ll do one of the voices,” he said.

“I’ve got my music guys working on all the kids’ songs, the live shows, merchandise, toys, the cartoons. So there’s a lot going on.”
Efron has been working on the upcoming film Gold in South Australia.
He will star alongside Anthony Hayes and award-winning actor Susie Porter, while Hayes will also direct the film, which is based on a screenplay he co-wrote with Polly Smyth.
Gold is a taut thriller about greed and the lengths people will go to secure themselves a fortune. It follows two drifters travelling through the outback who stumble across the biggest gold nugget ever found.
They hatch a plan to protect and excavate their bounty, with one man leaving to secure the necessary equipment.
The other man remains and must endure the harsh desert climate, preying wolves and intruders while battling the creeping doubt that he has been abandoned to his own fate.
Hayes said it was an “absolute gift” to have secured Efron as his main man for the film.
“I can’t wait to deliver this bold, visceral and cinematic film to audiences all around the world,” he said.
