Inside Zac Efron’s $22m Byron Bay love nest he’s been renting
While the actor has been in a rumoured relationship with Australian girlfriend Vanessa Valladares, he has been living in this lavish $22m home.
Photos of the mansion Zac Efron has rumoured to be renting in Byron Bay have emerged, and it’s no wonder why the Hollywood star has been in no rush to go home to L.A.
After finding love with Australian waitress Vanessa Valladares, the pair have been spotted a couple of times downtown, and most recently over the weekend, in Sydney.
On Friday Efron, 32, and Valladares, 25, were spotted in dining at the lavish Rose Bay eatery Catalina with a pair of unidentified friends.
It is unknown whether or not Efron has moved to Sydney, or will reside permanently in Byron Bay, but a look inside the $22 million mansion makes us believe he’ll be back there with his girlfriend very soon.

LJ Hooker Avnu real estate agent Michael Coombs spoke to The Daily Telegraph about the property.
“We did have a few A-list celebrities inquire about it, and some sports stars,” he said. “In my opinion it is the best house in Byron Bay.”

Efron has quietly been residing in the beachside town for months, though he’s expected back in the US soon to film the Disney+ remake of Three Men and a Baby.
Valladares was photographed holding hands with the High School Musical heart-throb in early September in the trendy beachside town in northern NSW, and is thought to be the reason why Efron has extended his visa in Australia for another 12 months.
The photos showed the pair picking up takeaway food in Byron, and surfaced after they were pictured disembarking a Jetstar flight at Ballina airport following a ski trip together in Thredbo.

Rumours swirled in June that Efron had settled down in Byron Bay – the place fellow Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth calls home – and was enjoying the relaxed lifestyle that came with living in Australia.
It’s understood Efron arrived just before international borders were shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, where the US is still the worst hit country.
But it wasn’t until early July that he was first photographed Down Under, where coincidentally a paparazzi snapped him hugging Valladares at Byron’s iconic General Store cafe, though it was reported at the time she was just a friend.
