The Project host Peter van Onselen forgets he’s on live TV swearing at children

Peter van Onselen appeared to momentarily forget he was on live TV when he accidentally swore while issuing a stern warning to his children.

The Project co-host Peter van Onselen momentarily forgot that he was on live television during Tuesday night’s episode.

The star was reacting to a segment that encouraged children to have up to two hours of screen time per night, as it may improve their NAPLAN test results.

“School-night screen time may not be all bad after all. A new study from the University of NSW has found 1-2 hours a night can improve a student’s NAPLAN performance in numeracy and reading. But that advantage is lost when screen time goes over 4 fours.”

Speaking directly to the camera, PVO declared: “If my kids are watching — that is bullsh*t.”

“I second that!” cried host Lisa Wilkinson.

“Well, certainly don’t let them watch The Project — the language is disgusting!” quipped co-host Claire Hooper.

Most recently, Lisa Wilkinson weighed in on Meghan Markle, and how she doesn’t think that her recent venture in powdered lattes is going to do anything positive for her image.

The Duchess of Sussex, 39, has personally invested in a Californian female-founded business which makes superfood lattes.

Small start-up business Clevr Blends produce instant coffee sachets including chai, matcha, coffee and turmeric lattes, with a focus on wellness.

Meghan was the first high-profile celebrity to spruik the brand, along with neighbour and billionaire Oprah Winfrey, who uploaded a video on Instagram of herself making the drink.

But Wilkinson, 60, had some thoughts about this new venture while hosting the news program, claiming she admires Meghan’s intentions, but doesn’t believe it’s the right move by the Duchess.

“I admired the fact that she couldn’t care less what the trolls think. Good for her. She is supporting an all-female run business.”

However, Lisa’s advice was to not do these kind of deals.

“If I was Meghan and Harry, I’d go quiet. I’d go off and make really good documentaries for Netflix. Little sideline things don’t help.”
