The Crown: First look at Emma Corrin as Princess Diana
The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. Here’s our first look at Princess Diana and Prince Charles in The Crown.
Sure, we’ve all been captivated by the first two seasons of The Crown — and every little teaser for the upcoming season 3 — but the moment everyone’s really been waiting for has finally arrived.
The first photos of Princess Diana, aka actress Emma Corrin, are here.
And the real Charles and Diana during their visit to Uluru in 1983:

In the shots, featuring Josh O’Connor as a young Prince Charles and Corrin as Diana, the actors are on a beach in Spain, recreating a visit from the couple’s 1983 royal tour of Australia.
Their wardrobes are replicas of what the royals wore at Uluru — so that’s likely to be the visit in focus.
The Charles and Diana storyline will take place in season 4 of The Crown.
We’re in for a long wait — season 3 won’t even premiere until next month, almost two years after the previous season dropped.
It’s the role of a lifetime for Corrin, 23, who was a complete unknown when she landed the job straight out of university.
In a statement released by Netflix earlier this year, the actress admitted being cast as the royal icon was “surreal”.
“I have been glued to the show and to think I’m now joining this incredibly talented acting family is surreal,” she said.
“Princess Diana was an icon and her effect on the world remains profound and inspiring. To explore her through Peter Morgan’s writing is the most exceptional opportunity and I will strive to do her justice.”
