Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer announce hit Aussie comedy Colin From Accounts to return for Season 3
The stars of the hit Aussie comedy Colin From Accounts have shared an exciting update with fans in the wake of its recent BAFTA nom.
The hilarious and much-loved comedy Colin From Accounts is set to return for a whole new season.
It was announced today that the award-winning BINGE Original Series will be back for a cracker Season 3 with Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer, who are co-creators, co-writers and co-stars on the show (and husband and wife in real life), excitedly dropping an announcement video.
“We’re VERY excited to bring you season three of our show,” they said in a separate statement. “To be honest, with the way we ended season two it would have been weird not to make a third, so here we are.”
“We promise we won’t leave you hanging like that again. Probably.”
The Season 2 finale was a cliffhanger, indeed. Brammall’s character Gordon gets caught up in a moment at their friends’ wedding and decides to propose to Ashley (Dyer) on the dance floor in front of everyone.
In awkward scenes, she tells him to get up and doesn’t accept his proposal, leaving viewers questioning the future of their relationship.
The mess and chaos that is Colin From Accounts is why viewers tune in season after season. The show follows brewery owner Gordon and student doctor Ashley who are brought together by a car accident involving an injured stray dog.

Through a series of hilarious events, Ash and Gordon are now left caring for the special needs dog, who they affectionately name Colin From Accounts.
Since it premiered in 2022, the show has gone on to experience global success. It is now licensed to over 150 territories around the world, including on Paramount+ in the US and the BBC in the UK.
Last month, the series also scored a nomination at the BAFTA TV Awards in the International category.
It will go up against After The Party (New Zealand), Say Nothing (Ireland), Jodie Foster’s True Detective: Night Country (US), You Are Not Alone: Fighting The Wolfpack (Spain), and the Netflix juggernaut ShÅgun (US) at a star-studded ceremony in the UK on May 11.
The series already has one AACTA, three Logies and two Gotham TV Awards under its belt.
“It’s always nice to get awards, nominations, that sort of stuff,” Brammall told news.com.au last year. “But genuinely, it’s the way that people respond to us when they see us. That’s honestly the thing that always blows us away.”
“It takes a lot effort to make [the series] look effortless, but even still, it surpassed our expectations at first season the way people loved it, so we’re very happy.”
