“Hey guys. To celebrate the launch of the new Ted series, BINGE is giving away limited edition Ted Budgies this Thursday in Bondi,” the Sydney Roosters champion fullback said in a promo clip shared on Instagram.
“I’ll be down there from 7am at the North Bondi Lifesaving Club. So come down grab yourself a pair and soak up the vibes.”

All fans have to do to win a free pair is try their luck at the Ted dunk tank between 7am and 9am.
For those who miss out, the cheeky cozzies will also be available at the Bondi and Manly Budgy Smuggler stores, where all fans have to do is prove that they are a BINGE customer to receive it.
The TV adaptation was launched on the platform on January 11, 12 years after the original live-action film premiered starring Mark Wahlberg as John Bennett, who is best friends with the talking bear from his childhood, voiced by Seth MacFarlane.
The series is a prequel to the films and is set in 1993 with John (played by Max Burkholder) and Ted living back home in Massachusetts and navigating high school.
“Ted may be a lousy influence on John, but at the end of the day, he’s a loyal pal who’s always willing to go out on a limb for friendship,” reads the synopsis.
MacFarlane is back on board as writer, executive producer and director, and he also returns as the voice of Ted in the seven-episode special.
“Our series is a prequel to the Ted movies. It takes place in the ’90s but is based on the timeless truth that being 16 sucks,” they said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
“The only thing that makes it tolerable is going through it with a friend, even if that friend is a has-been magical teddy bear with a foul mouth and a proclivity for drug use.”
Ted is now streaming on BINGE
