The Voice: Boy George takes down Delta Goodrem with cutting comment
THE Culture Club singer didn’t hold back in the opening episode of The Voice, hurling a particularly sassy line at Australia’s very own Delta Goodrem.
BOY George has thrown some spectacular shade at Delta Goodrem.
In the opening episode of The Voice, which kicked off last night on Channel Nine, Boy George put Delta Goodrem in her place as he tried to convince a contestant to pick him as their coach.
“You know that Delta’s the Princess of Australia, you know that,” Boy George said to the contestant. “But I’m famous all over the world.”
Ouch.
Boy George shading Delta Goodrem with the line âIâm famous all over the worldâ is my greatest kink #TheVoiceAU

I donât like that Boy George has just decided to have a beef with Delta for no reason. I love him but he has a need for drama now Seal is gone that just makes no sense #TheVoiceAU

Boy George’s shady comment is just the tip of the iceberg though. In a promo for the latest season of The Voice, the Karma Chameleon singer is also shown clashing with Kelly Rowland.
In the clip, Boy George seems to take offence when Rowland refers to him as “a guy with a hat on”. Boy George is later shown whingeing to Joe Jonas, saying, “I’m not a man in a hat, I’m an icon in a hat!”
More than 1.02 million people [5 city metro] tuned in for last night’s first episode of The Voice which saw all four coaches perform a stunning rendition of David Bowie’s Heroes.
The Voice continues on Channel Nine tonight and tomorrow night.
