Bachelorette Ali Oetjen launches surprising new career

After appearing on reality TV she launched an eye-wateringly expensive fitness e-book. Now, Ali Oetjen has revealed her next move.

After conquering the world of reality TV, Ali Oetjen is ready to pursue her passion for singing.

Oetjen, who appeared on last year’s season of The Bachelorette, announced to her Instagram followers on Thursday that she was “chasing my dreams”.

“I’ve been asked so many times, ‘What are you doing now? Do you have a job? How do you pay your bills?”’ Oetjen explained in an Instagram story video.

“Well, I’m working from home. I’m chasing my dreams. I’m doing what I do everyday and that’s living a healthy lifestyle and inspiring people to do the same. And it’s so rewarding. And (if) I can do it, so can you!”

The 32-year-old also revealed how boyfriend Taite Radley, who she met on The Bachelorette, was helping her pursue her passion.

“I’m also singing, which is surprising. Taite’s gotten me to sing,” Oetjen said. “(It) has just opened up this side of me that just wants to release all my emotions and share my voice with the world. And it’s the best feeling.”

In another sign she seems committed to her new music dream, Oetjen has changed her Instagram bio to read “singer”.

Prior to appearing on The Bachelorette Oetjen had worked as an account manager at an Adelaide radio station and a health Instagram influencer.

Last month she launched e-book Ali Oetjen 8 Week Healthy Lifestyle Program which she is selling for a staggering $69.97.

Oetjen showed off her singing skills in a promo for The Bachelorette last year, performing The Supremes’ You Can’t Hurry Love.
