Bachelor bad boy Ciarran Stott roasted for posting ‘tacky’ photo with new girlfriend

Bachelor in Paradise bad boy Ciarran Stott has debuted his new romance, but fans weren’t too impressed with the “disrespectful” photo he posted.

One of The Bachelor franchise’s most controversial characters Ciarran Stott has officially got himself a girlfriend.

The 27-year-old British reality star and Melbourne personal trainer posted a photo with his new love, Instagram model Ruby Burciaga, on Monday as he wished his followers a happy New Year.

But the loved-up selfie had some fans dubbing it “tacky”, showing a topless Burciaga wearing nothing but a G-string, while Stott caressed her bare chest.

Ciarran Stott debuted his relationship on Instagram.

“2022’s tackiest post so far right here,” one follower wrote.

Another said, “Ooo look at me parading this women (sic) around like piece of meat.”

A third added, “Disrespectful, so last century, unfollow.”

Stott did have his fair share of supporters on the post, with one writing, “Dying over you two!”, while another said, “Enjoy brother!”.

He first debuted his relationship with Burciaga last week, uploading a picture of the pair with the caption, “Life with you is pretty damn good.”

Burciaga’s Instagram page, which has 3400 followers, features a slew of photos of herself in swimwear and glamorous clothing.

Stott first rose to recognition on The Bachelorette in 2019, where he vied for Angie Kent’s heart. The heavily-tattooed man, with long bleach blonde hair, stood out from the other competitors and wasn’t afraid to show his sensitive side, choosing to leave the series after the sudden death of his nan.

But then he reappeared on Bachelor in Paradise 10 months later with a very different persona, where he was seen to be pursuing a number of girls at once – Cass Mamone, Abbie Chatfield and Jessica Brody.

Stott’s reputation took a dive after he appeared on Bachelor in Paradise.

Eyebrows were raised even higher when his ex-girlfriend, fellow Bachelor alum Renee Barrett, showed up on the Fijian island and told everyone he’d actually left The Bachelorette – and Angie – in order to be with her.

But the final nail in the coffin for viewers was when a carefree Stott was seen hopping into bed with Barrett while the woman he was courting before her arrival, Brody, was confined to her room suffering a severe case of gastro.

Ultimately he finished the show leaving with intruder, Kiki Morris, who revealed after the finale aired that he had dumped and ghosted her soon after filming.

Stott ended up with Kiki Morris on Bachelor in Paradise, before they broke up weeks later.

It appears Stott has turned his life around since then, as he revealed he regretted going on the show.

“I wish I never went on Bachelor in Paradise. Everything went absolutely sideways for me,” he told the So Dramatic! podcast in December.

“When I was [on Bachelor in Paradise], I had no respect for myself and definitely no respect for anyone on the show.

“I regret everything to do with Paradise, I regret going on the show. If I could push the restart button and go in there again, I wouldn’t have gone in with that attitude.”
