The Bachelor has admitted he’s nervous about how viewers will react to a scene where he “cracks the sh*ts”.

Pilot Jimmy Nicholson, 31, told news.com.au there was an incident in the house that made him lose his cool.

“One night in particular, something unfolded where I cracked the sh*ts a little bit,” he said. “The penny dropped that someone who was there, who I thought was this person, was in actual fact someone completely different.”

Jimmy said he was “frustrated” and “annoyed” and that things came to a “boiling point” where he confronted the Bachelorettes and spoke to them all.

“It’s going to be interesting to see how that comes off,” Jimmy said about the drama. “But it is what it is. I’m not perfect.”

The incident is featured in a new promo for The Bachelor which was released by Channel 10 yesterday.

Jimmy is shown chatting to one of the women in the garden while saying: “I don’t want to sit here and have an argument with you. I think it’s time you should go.”

Some of the other Bachelorettes are shown looking on in shock and saying, “Is he sending her home?”

During his chat with news.com.au, Jimmy spoke about the how awkward it was having a large film crew watching on during his one-on-one dates with the women.

“The awkward part is when you’re in some of the more romantic settings, you might be having an amazing date and you have cheeky kiss at the end and then it just stops,” he laughed. “And you look around and there’s 20 people just staring at us not saying a word.

That’s when you realise, OK, this is actually a little bit weird,” Jimmy told news.com.au.

Despite the awkwardness, Jimmy confirmed he did find love on the show.

“She’s amazing, we’re both really happy,” he said. “We chat multiple times a day, a lot of Facetime at the moment, and I’m really happy, so it’s good.”

The Bachelor premieres on Channel 10 on Wednesday, July 21 at 7.30pm
