‘She was literally yelling and screaming to herself’: Truth behind explosive Bachelor blow-up

BACHELOR fans watched in shock last night as “villain” Romy screamed at Blair for revealing her nasty comments about Cass. But according to Blair, there’s more to the story.

The Bachelor Episode 5 Recap: Vicious Cat Fights

LATEST Bachelor evictee Blair has spilt the beans on what really happened during last night’s explosive episode, describing the “out of control” events that led to her big blow-up with Romy.

The drama all started when Blair, 27, overheard Romy dissing stage-five clinger Cass in a conversation with Nick Cummins’ sister.

“Nick actually knows Cass from before. And I think she was already in love with him coming into this competition. Age certainly comes into it a little bit as well. She’s 23 and a very young 23,” Romy told Bernadette, while Blair was in earshot.

Later, Romy blew up after discovering Blair had warned Cass of the white-anting.

The ensuing on-screen drama was fairly wild — but according to Blair, there was plenty we didn’t see.

“She was literally yelling and screaming to herself. That’s what you didn’t see, me trying to speak and her just losing it … and her hand gestures, it was literally like she was choreographing a dance or something,” Blair told news.com.au. “I had to duck and weave, and you couldn’t really see that [on screen].”

Romy was … not happy.

Despite the chaos it caused, the PE teacher has no regrets about sharing Romy’s comments with Cass.

“Romy is a very aggressive person and she is like that with everything and she obviously gets her way and gets what she wants most of the time — and it’s happened again with all the media attention she’s getting now,” Blair said. “She’s very manipulative and it works in her favour — she’s also really good at shifting the blame.”

After the fight, “everybody” came to check if she was all right, revealed Blair — even Romy’s BFF and fellow “villain” Cat.

“Everyone was like, ‘Whoa, that was out of control,’” she told news.com.au. “Even Cat came and apologised to me in person, without the cameras around, to see if I was OK.”

This season of The Bachelor has been marred by claims that some of the contestants - including Romy and Cat - have been acting like bullies. Blair, who was actually roommates with Romy when filming first began, explained that she noticed behavioural changes once the cameras started rolling.

“I roomed with Romy at the beginning, and she was really cool and nice, but then as the cameras came out and time went on … she was obviously there to get famous, or for her name to be out there more, so her character changed.”

Blair was sent packing last night after failing to secure a rose from the Honey Badger.

She was disappointed, but also admitted the decision didn’t come as too much of a surprise.

“After I was speaking to Nick at the cocktail party, I just had that feeling with the way he was speaking, and the things he was speaking about, that I was definitely going home.”

The Bachelor continues tonight at 7.30pm on Ten.
