Megan Marx debuts brunette hair at Sydney red-carpet event

Despite being one of the most famous stars of the Bachelor franchise, Megan Marx looked dramatically different at an event this week.

Megan Marx might be one of reality TV’s most famous faces, but she now looks dramatically different from her days on reality TV.

Marx attended a Married At First Sight viewing party in Sydney on Tuesday night sporting brown hair and dark make-up, a look worlds away from her trademark tanned skin and blonde locks.

The Bachelor in Paradise star mingled at the event with former co-star Elora Murger, as well as The Bachelorette’s James Trethewie and MAFS’ Ashley Irvin.

Marx attended the event solo after splitting from Jake Ellis for the second time last month.

The reality stars first hooked up on last year’s season of Bachelor in Paradise but split briefly in August.

Marx has been open about her cosmetic work and surgery in the past, revealing on Instagram last year how Botox and fillers had left her looking “like catwoman”.

Marx admitted she too had been shocked by her face after going to “just any clinic” to get Botox and filler injections.

“As you probably know, I’ve been seeing cosmetic clinics for a few years — for surface skin treatments but also wrinkle relaxer and filler etc. I really don’t think there’s any point hiding it (big on transparency here),” Marx wrote.

“A while back I had the unfortunate experience of being ‘overfilled’. I was short on time after a busy few months and went to just any clinic (not saying where).

“I came out looking like catwoman, ha! It scared me off doing anything for a while, until I knew I could go to someone I trusted.”

Marx previously told NW Magazine she spent $47,000 on cosmetic work getting breast implants, two nose jobs, lip and cheek fillers, hair extensions, tattooed eyebrows and Botox.
