Did Lisa Wilkinson spoil The Bachelor ending with this tweet?
Lisa Wilkinson posted — then quickly deleted — a tweet suggesting Abbie doesn’t win Matt’s heart during last night’s Bachelor finale.
Lisa Wilkinson may have just spoiled the Bachelor ending, tweeting that she hopes Abbie is the next Bachelorette.
The tweet came during Thursday night’s finale, immediately after Abbie’s tense conversation with Matt’s best friend Kate.

During Abbie’s routine grilling — teased in the promo as “the most awkward interrogation yet” — Kate (apparently the “biggest bullsh*t detector”) didn’t mince words.
In fact, she made it quite clear how disappointed she was to see Abbie in South Africa.
“I’ll be honest … I was surprised that you have come down to the final two,” she told the divisive contestant, who was seen downing her champagne during the tense chat.
Speaking in a to-camera interview, safe from the tension, Abbie told producers: “She’s horrible … Why is Matt even friends with her?”
The situation intensified with Kate requesting a moment to herself right in the middle of their conversation.
“What the actual f***?,” Abbie blurted to producers as Kate walked off.
“I’m not really believing what she’s saying,” Kate whispered to producers, as Abbie rolled her eyes to the camera.
“I love Kate!,” Abbie said sarcastically to the camera following their time together.
Wilkinson, responding to Abbie’s cheeky comments behind Kate’s back, posted: “I don’t care what anybody says, I want Abbie Chatfield to be the next #BacheloretteAU Sooooo entertaining.”
The tweet has since been deleted.
Chemical engineer Chelsie McLeod has long been the bookies pick to take out top spot.
Meanwhile, rumours have swirled that Matt chooses Chelsie, but has already split from the 28-year-old and “does a Blake Garvey,” choosing Abbie after all.
