Contestant accused of pool sex as The Bachelors gets raunchy

Chaos erupted on the Bachelors when one of the contestants was suspected of going all the way in a steamy pool session.

It is immediately apparent that without Tash or Jess’s open relationship, not much is really happening on The Bachelors, but you can’t accuse Ten’s producers of not trying because they are now angling for Tilly to be the new “villain”.

Tilly’s greatest crime is that she is the friskiest of the girls so far, otherwise she seems really lovely so it is a hard sell to make her enemy number one.

However, the producers are giving it a crack. The episode opens with Tilly on a quest to get some alone time with the giant man Bachelor Felix – not exactly the behaviour of an evil woman, or is it?

It is! Krystal is outraged that Tilly has whisked Felix away for a private chat. She’s fuming because she claims it has meant Felix hasn’t even had the chance to say hello to everyone else.

Polygamous Queen Jess, who understands sharing people, is on Tilly’s side but doesn’t call out Krystal. This is exactly why we need Tash back.

Tilly’s one-on-one time with Felix isn’t very sexy. She’s just annoyed he was caught up with Jess and Jess’s boyfriend Damian. Felix immediately apologies, and they have a quick smooch, but Tilly fails to see that Felix is in the biggest love triangle since Twilight.

Felix returns to his gaggle of ladies to find out they are mad at him. Krystal confronts Felix for being rude by disappearing with Tilly. He tries to stand up for himself but immediately realises he is out of his depth and runs away, swearing to himself like a dad who just found the electricity bill.

Now that is over, we get treated to the three bachelors strutting down the street together. They are looking more and more like a fancier version of the Jonas Brothers. They return to the girls’ mansion to invite women on single dates and I feel sad that Felix always makes Thomas and Jed look like Polly Pocket men.

Angela, whom I have never seen before, gets asked out on a date with Jed. Lauren, who has barely had any airtime, gets asked out on a date with Thomas and Felix chooses Tilly, much to Krystal’s outrage.

The producers decide they are sick of dark rooms but very happy with the slightly creepy vibe, so they go for a dimly lit room and a burlesque show for the single dates.

Felix rants about how he wants to see if he have more than just a physical connection with Tilly. The burlesque show isn’t exactly screaming quiet emotional chats, but whatever.

Felix turns to Tilly and says, “You know how you said you were feeling horny? I don’t think this is going to help!” Look out, The Notebook – we have a new romantic hero in town.

Jed and Thomas are also there, but their dates are less horny and, therefore, way less interesting.

Drummer Jed keeps comparing himself to the burlesque dancer because they are both artists.

Thomas tells his date, Lauren, that he has so many questions for her. So, clearly, he has forgotten who she is too.

Lauren tells Thomas she wouldn’t say yes to an engagement ring unless she thought he was the one. Thomas replies earnestly that he wouldn’t propose unless he really likes someone – sweetie, you are meant to say love someone.

Tilly and Felix are desperately trying to form a deep connection. Tilly tells Felix that she is a foodie but she’s not a brunch girl. She’s just a dinner girl. They have nothing to say to each other, so they decide to compare hand sizes – a version of flirting I prayed ended after High School.

Jed finally gets sick of talking about being an artist and decides to unleash emotional warfare on Angela.

He asks if she has any concerns about him, and Angela rants about her parents’ divorce and not wanting to be vulnerable. She’s too vague for it to be interesting. If she said: “My mum cheated on my dad with the pool boy, so now I’m scared of swimming!” I’d be interested.

Tilly and Felix can’t stop making out, and everyone else feels awkward about it.

All the girls return to the Bachelor’s mansion for some sexy time. Tilly and Felix enter the pool, and their PDA immediately becomes softcore porn.

Felix calls the pool “playtime” and refuses to stop mauling Tilly, which makes Thomas and Lauren so uncomfortable they bail.

Tilly returns to the girls’ mansion all smiles and maybe with a UTI from being in wet swimmers for so long. Krystal is furious and thinks Tilly’s happiness means she must have had sex with Felix.

Krystal immediately channels a true crime podcast sleuth and asks Tilly if she and Felix were intimate. Tilly remains vague in her responses, and Krystal continues to seethe.

The producers must be aware the feud between Krystal and Tilly isn’t that exciting because then we are forced to endure another group date.

Everyone has to play minigolf. Not much happens at the golf. Does anything ever happen at golf? Krystal keeps trying to grill Tilly on whether she had sex with Felix, and the boys all have a good go at mansplaining mini golf.

Krystal decides to confront Felix and ask him what happened between him and Tilly. Felix says they had a steamy pool session, and Krystal acts like that is fine, but it is very not fine.

Felix pulls Tilly aside to tell her that he wants her to keep heavily petting him, even if it means the other girls get mad at her. Tilly thinks this is romantic.

The rose ceremony is a bust because Osher can’t get anyone to stir up any drama. Krystal just says that she also has a physical connection with Felix, and like, have you guys even kissed?

Everyone that matters gets a rose. Two women we’ve never seen go home and hold the phone because just when you think all hope is lost, Tash has returned.

She rocks up at the Bachelors’ mansion and tells Jed that she misses him and demands to speak to him alone.

Thomas and Felix are mortified but Jed agrees to go and speak with her alone and I’m so glad she is back - SO GLAD.
