Tash reveals the sad reason she left The Bachelors
Tash Candyce shocked everyone when she left The Bachelors on Monday but the reason why she ditched her 15-seconds of fame is actually very sad.
Tash Candyce is everything you want in a reality television villain.
She’s all hair, lips and expensive activewear and she shocked everyone on Monday when she stormed off Ten’s The Bachelors, taking all the drama with her.
In four swift episodes, she managed to out Jasmine for having an OnlyFans account and told the very tall Felix that sweet looking Jess was in an open relationship.
In person, Tash is exactly like how she is on the show. She’s open, the first to laugh at herself, and as feisty as she is tanned.
Tash was the human grenade this season needed and she has no regrets, particularly about unveiling Jess’s boyfriend,
“She was waiting for the right moment and the right moment is from the get-go,” said the reality villain.
So, because Jess was gun-shy, Tash took the matter into her own manicured hands.
The other big drama was her relationship with Jasmine, which quickly went from tense to toxic. At the mention of Jasmine’s name, Tash isn’t impressed. “Jasmine is a web browser that keeps popping up,” she said.
One second they were fighting for Jed’s heart, and the next, Jasmine had switched bachelors and had her heart set on Thomas.
Tash is annoyed by the change but isn’t surprised, “She realised that Jed and I had something I can’t compete with, so now she’s gone to Thomas.” Meanwhile, Tash is gone from the mansion.
So, why did Tash sashay off? She used to date Bachelorette cast-off Michael Turnbull and she made it to the final round for Nine’s Married At First Sight and appeared on Ten's First Dates, so she clearly isn’t reality television shy: In fact, she’s reality television clingy.
Tash confesses that she was bullied in high school, and the mansion with all the girls became too much for her, “I was getting triggered left, right and centre. I decided to leave because it was too much.
“All the girls were constantly at me, and it was every day and night. There were looks and stares, and I don’t need to put myself into this position to find love.”
There were also plenty of hurtful comments thrown around: “I got told to go drown. A lot of people do drown, so I thought that was sad,” she explained.
Leaving dashed her chances with Jed, yes our version of Machine Gun Kelly, minus the success but Tash is unbothered.
“I haven’t died!” she announced, “Jed and I do have a connection, and if it is meant to be, he can contact me in the outside world.”
Plus, there’s the added bonus that she has been the breakout star of the season, “Let’s be honest, everyone knows my name. They don’t know anyone else’s name besides Felix, Thomas and Jed,” Tash pointed out.
So what is next? “I would love to go on into acting. Move over, Sam Frost I’m coming for you next.”
However, she won’t just jump on board to just anything, she has reality television standards now, she explained: “I’m going to have a lot of opportunities now to do bigger and better things. I wouldn’t go on First Dates again because that would be taking a huge backwards step.”
Tash may not have found love but her chances of finding even more fame seem to have increased. I guess, all is fair in love, war and reality television.
