OK. THERE’S no delicate way to put this. But according to reports, The Bachelor star Richie Strahan smells.

The rather childish accusation comes from an anonymous source who told New Idea many contestants were unimpressed with the 31-year-old’s low confidence and poor hygiene while filming the upcoming series.

“Many of them confessed they wouldn’t have applied for the show if they’d known Richie would be their prize, and a fair few expressed their desire to leave more than once,” the source told the magazine.

Regarding Richie being a big ol’ stinker, the source had this to say:

“No-one knew if he was aware of it, or if it was down to his nerves. But it was noticeable and was certainly a mood killer as far as romance goes.”

It’s not clear if it was a bad breath situation or whether it was more a BO issue. Maybe things are so bad he has stink lines coming off him like in a cartoon. Either way, it’s nothing a bit of mouthwash and Mitchum Clinical couldn’t fix, one would think.

Along with a keen sense of smell, the source also had a deep understanding about the struggles the handsome rope access technician was facing.

“He really genuinely struggled with his feelings and opening up, because it was so hard to know who was in it for the right reasons, who really wanted to find love and who saw a real future with him,” they said.

While there aren’t any visible stink lines, sources say Richie smells.
