Sonia Kruger stuns with X-rated detail on Dancing With The Stars

The Dancing With The Stars host raised plenty of eyebrows and left one celeb in a fit of giggles with a very explicit remark during Sunday’s show.

Sonia Kruger sparked plenty of giggles from the crowd at Dancing With The Stars with a very explicit joke on Sunday night.

The host of Seven’s reality show was catching up with model and presenter Kris Smith, 43, and his dancing partner, Siobhan Power, following their performance of the Paso Doble, when she asked how his knees were holding up. Smith suffers from early onset osteoarthritis, and has previously revealed he’s had 12 knee operations.

“How are your knees, by the way? Do you have a safe word in case things go wrong, like pineapple, or Daryl?” Kruger, 56, asked Smith, referring to her co-host Daryl Somers, before dropping a racy gag. “Because my safe word is ‘harder’.”

As a stunned Smith laughed along with the crowd, Kruger asked: “Did I go too far then? I think I did!”

Kruger’s comment sparked plenty of giggles.

It wasn’t the only racy moment during Sunday night’s episode. Singer Ricki-Lee Coulter, 36, raised eyebrows with her very risqué red satin dress which featured a full skirt with thigh-high slits – and a top which appeared to be made up entirely of just straps.

A flesh-coloured layer underneath protected the star from a wardrobe malfunction.

Following Coulter’s jazz performance, her partner Jarryd Byrne was called out by judge Helen Richey, who was left offended by his suggestion that she wasn’t experienced in that particular style of dancing.

The former competitive ballroom dancer, 77, brought up the comments made in the prerecorded video package, telling him sarcastically: “Jarryd, I just want to – before we go on to the dancing – just say something about what you said in your video package … Obviously, we don’t know anything about jazz, so I’ll just pass to [fellow judge] Paul [Mercurio].”

Byrne was called out by Richey during an awkward moment.

Richey added: “I don’t think you meant to be disrespectful, but it came across that way. There are four judges up here, that have a lot of dance knowledge.”

After reassuring Coulter she wasn’t “going to take it out” on her with her scoring, the judge turned back to Byrne and warned him.

“Just don’t poke the bear. Especially mumma bear, darling,” Richey said.

An apologetic Byrne quickly responded: “I’m so sorry, I meant no disrespect.”
