Sonia Kruger reveals what Keith Urban was really like on The Voice

The Voice host Sonia Kruger has revealed how Keith Urban came to her rescue when she was struggling on the set of the reality show.

Sonia Kruger has revealed how Keith Urban saved her during a tough moment on the set of The Voice.

Urban is one of the four coaches on the Channel 7 show alongside Jessica Mauboy, Guy Sebastian and Rita Ora.

Speaking to Who magazine, Kruger said Urban was incredibly supportive behind the scenes.

“I remember standing on stage one night and even though I’ve presented a lot of shows over the years, I still get nervous at times,” she told Who.

“And I was trying to say something and I got it completely wrong. It all went really silent in the room, and I felt all the blood coming up to my face. And Keith just looked at me and said, ‘You got this, Sonia.’ And at that moment, I was just so jealous of Nicole Kidman!”

The latest season of The Voice has been a huge ratings winner for Channel 7 after it nabbed the show from Channel 9.

After four weeks on screens, it’s set to wrap up this Sunday night with the four finalists battling it out in the grand final.

The remaining contenders are Bella Taylor Smith from Team Guy, Arlo Sim from Team Keith, Mick Harrington from Team Jess and G-Nat!on from Team Rita.

According to Sportsbet, Bella Taylor Smith is the clear favourite to win ahead of G-Nat!on and Arlo Sim.

The winner will be determined by public voting through The Voice Australia website.

The Voice Grand Final airs this Sunday night on Seven at 7pm
