Scott Cam weighs in on Tanya, Vito, Luke and Josh snubbing contestants

Four of this year’s controversial Block stars have decided to ditch their fellow contestants in a defiant move, leaving host Scott Cam disappointed.

Tensions are still rife on the Block building site, with the four contestants involved in this year’s cheating scandal opting to snub the weekly ‘Winners are Grinners’ dinner.

Seemingly bitter over the results of Sunday’s room reveal — which Ronnie and Georgia won and Luke and Josh came last in — the twins and married couple Tanya and Vito made the decision to keep to themselves rather than socialise with the others.

It comes after Tanya and Josh made their frustrations towards the other teams clear at a fiery group meeting last week which resulted in both storming off in a huff.

It seems Luke and Josh weren’t ready to move on from their brutal feedback on Sunday.

Paying a visit to the weekly get-together, Scott Cam was not impressed to hear the news.

“Who knocks back a beautiful meal by restaurant cooks when you’re on The Block?” Scotty asked.

“It’s a respect thing Scotty,” Ronnie pointed out, to which the long-running Block host nodded in agreeance.

“It is a respect thing Ronnie,” he repeated, asking: “If those guys win, are you guys gonna turn up to their dinner?”

As the other contestants nodded, Scotty raised his eyebrows and stayed tellingly silent, having already hit out at the ‘cheating’ teams earlier in the season amid the production schedule scandal that turned the competition on its head.

While Tanya, Vito, Luke and Josh had maintained they were staying home to work on their ‘Lip Sync Battle’ performances for this week’s challenge, their snide comments about the other teams told a different story.

On receiving the invitation to the dinner hosted by Ronnie and Georgia, Josh and Vito had labelled them “smug” for including a celebratory photo mid champagne-cheers at their winning prize getaway in the text.

“That’s just to stick it up us,” Vito asserted of the selfie.

Speaking to the camera, the twins said of the invite: “Not another dull evening at the winners are grinners.

“No one actually likes them … everyone’s just pretending to go through it.

“We’ve made up our mind, we’re definitely not going.”

Luke later added that he “didn’t think their company would be missed”.

Meanwhile, Tanya was far more forthcoming with her opinion of the hosting team.

“If Ronnie keeps going with his bullsh*t, and Georgia, this is my next line: ‘If I wanted to hear from an asshole I’d fart.’”

Charming.
