Sydney PR queen Roxy Jacenko has responded to claims she was a “horrendous” contestant on SAS Australia.

The reality TV star has been relentlessly defending herself following her brief stint on the Channel 7 show, rejecting backlash from viewers and now instructor Ollie Ollerton, who labelled her one of the most disappointing stars on the show.

Speaking to news.com.au last week, Ollerton said Jacenko — who infamously quit the show after just six hours — was “horrendous from the outset”.

Taking to her Instagram Stories in response to his remarks, Jacenko shared a screenshot of a conversation she had with Ollerton following her departure, in which he said she should be “proud” of her efforts.

“Be proud, people have no idea what the reality is like, amplified by injury x,” Ollerton wrote to the businesswoman in one message, referring to the injury she disclosed to followers after she quit the show.

It isn’t the only public clash to stem from Jacenko’s disastrous time on SAS Australia, with the PR maven revealing earlier this month that her friendship with Candice Warner had come to a screeching halt as a result of the show.

She also said she was sacked as Warner’s publicist.

The two women had a huge falling out on the set of the show when they were challenged by the show’s instructors to take each other on in a boxing fight.

Speaking to Kyle and Jackie O on KIIS FM, Jacenko said she was “upset” to be paired with Warner, who at the time was both a friend and a client of hers. She also claimed she refused to throw a punch at Warner during the challenge.

“Is she really my friend anymore? No. You know why I never hit back? Because it’d be like being in a ring with Jackie. You’re my mate, and I’m not going to smack you in the face for other people’s entertainment,” she told the hosts.

“You wouldn’t continue punching when the person – me – turns their back and continue punching them in the back of the head. In boxing, that’s totally not allowed. The reality is, I can’t punch my then-friend in the face for people’s entertainment.”

“You look back and go, ‘F**k, I should have whacked her one,’ but you know what? I’m bigger than that and I’ve got respect for other people.”

Jacenko revealed she cried after their bout, and said Warner had not since reached out to try and repair their friendship. “No, she sacked me instead,” she said with a laugh.

But Warner dismissed Jacenko’s claim that she didn’t fight back, telling Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa that “there was an opportunity before the fight to pull out, (but) we both chose to glove up, put the helmet on”.

Warner added: “She tried to (fight) but she couldn’t land a punch. That’s the honest truth. Ask anyone.”

Warner, who is married to Australian cricketer Dave Warner, said that she did apologise to Jacenko after the bout in a scene that didn’t go to air.

But she certainly wasn’t expecting Jacenko to attack her on radio.

“I was shocked by her comments and I’m really sorry that she feels that way,” Warner said.

When asked if they’re on speaking terms, she told Fitzy and Wippa: “Apparently not.”

SAS Australia continues Monday night from 7.30pm on Channel 7.
