MERV Hughes has been given a lesson in manscaping that didn’t quite go to plan.

The legendary Australian cricketer shaved off his eyebrows as clippers were sent into the I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! camp.

“I think that manscaping is probably not something that should be embraced in the jungle,” Julie Goodwin said after seeing Hughes’ eyebrows.

As a reward after Flintoff successfully completed a sneaky camp challenge, a basket of grooming supplies were sent into the South African jungle, including sponges, a face mask, nail clippers, creams and hair clippers.

They were given just 20 minutes of grooming time.

Hughes’ new look was much to the amusement of his fellow campmates, as was Brit Freddie Flintoff’s new do.

“I thought as a gesture to balding men and bald men everywhere, I would go bald and try it,” said Flintoff, who shaved off his hair down the middle top of his head but left the sides long.

Comedian Joel Creasey shaved off the beard he’s grown in the five plus weeks in camp while Maureen McCormick filed her nails and scrubbed the dead skin off her feet, and Goodwin plucked her eyebrows.

“I’m so sick of it,” Creasey said of his hairy face.
