Selina Chhaur reveals brutal break-up line Cody Bromley used

Controversial MAFS groom Cody Bromley pulled a savage break-up line on an unsuspecting Selina Chhaur, it has now been revealed.

Embattled MAFS bride Selina Chhaur has lifted the lid on exactly what happened after the MAFS reunion dinner party when husband Cody Bromley abruptly ended their relationship.

Selina, who was in tears the following night ahead of the experts at the reunion ceremony, said Cody didn’t provide any semblance of an explanation other than declaring he’d “decided” it was time to break up.

Speaking to Yahoo! Lifestyle, the 33-year-old hairdresser said Cody had been acting strange and distant all night, recalling how he’d “block her out” with his arms whenever Selina tried to be affectionate.

Selina described feeling blindsided by the sudden break up.

When they got in the car to head back to their hotel, the reason for his cold behaviour became apparent when Cody turned to her and bluntly said: “I’m gonna call it.”

“I was a little bit rattled,” Selina said, admitting the split caught her by surprise given she had been planning to move to Sydney from Adelaide to make the relationship work.

When she pressed Cody to elaborate on why he wanted to “call it”, Selina recalled him saying: “I’ve decided we’re just going to break up.”

Selina was prepared to uproot her life in Adelaide for Cody.

Cody confirmed the split ahead of the experts and other couples the very next day, declaring, “Selena and I decided to cool things last night,” to shocked reactions from the room.

“This is new to us. Help us understand what’s going on guys,” Mel Schilling responded.

“It’s new to me too,” Selina said through tears before revealing the break-up was fresh from the previous night.

Explaining his reasoning, Cody said when Selina tried to hold his hand, it felt “forced”.

A devastated Selina then revealed she had developed strong feelings for Cody, and thought she was falling in love with him.

“I just feel silly. I thought that this was love or something approaching it,” she said through tears.

Selina was heartbroken by the brutal beak up.

But the season may not have been entirely unsuccessful for Selina, who was spotted looking cosy with fellow contestant Al Perkins at an event in Sydney last week. The pair were also seen on an intimate date, which curiously took place shortly before Selina’s final vows with Cody, in which they decided to stay together.

Al’s ‘marriage’ to Samantha Moitzi failed before the experiment ended.
