Married At First Sight causes flight delays, radio caller claims
AN AIRPORT worker has sensationally claimed that flights are being delayed because some airline employees are glued to Married At First Sight.
AN AIRPORT employee has claimed that Married At First Sight is causing flight delays.
On the 2DayFMBreakfast Show with Em, Grant & Ed this morning, a caller named Zoe who said she works at an airport rang into the show and dropped a bombshell.
“Big, burly blokes that work with me sit in the meal room and will delay planes for anywhere up to half an hour because they cannot get their eyes off that TV screen,” the caller said.
The claim shocked Em Rusciano who said: “Wait, I’m sorry, did you just say that planes are getting delayed for up to half an hour at Sydney Airport because they are in the meal room watching Married At First Sight?”
Got it in one, Em.
“Your bags are not being put on on time because they wanna watch this silly show,” the caller added.
“This is a scandal!” Grant Denyer said.
Married At First Sight was again the most watched show on TV last night with 1.623 million people [5 city metro] tuning in.
The huge ratings come after the show raked in 1.525 million viewers on Monday night and 1.446 million on Sunday night.
Last night’s episode was arguably the most shocking of the season so far with two secret relationships revealed at the reunion dinner party. The final episode of Married At First Sight — say it ain’t so — airs tonight at 7.30pm on Nine and according to Tracey, “it gets messy!”
