MAFS star’s sad confession about split

THEY were one of Married At First Sight’s few success stories, but now Zoe Hendrix has made a heartbreaking confession about her failed relationship.

MARRIED At First Sight’s Zoe Hendrix has claimed that Alex Garner “walked away” from their relationship after three years together.

The couple, who were one of the reality TV show’s few success stories, announced their surprise split in April.

Hendrix and Garner share one-year-old daughter Harper and had previously announced plans to tie the knot legally.

Responding to fans who had asked her why she had left Garner, Hendrix wrote on Instagram that she had never thought she would be a single parent.

“I never thought that the man I love so much would one day walk away. But he did,” Hendrix said.

“I never thought I would be alone taking care of our child six days a week in a suburb that no longer feels like home.”

Garner and Hendrix both announced they had decided to split earlier this year, but didn’t give details about why they decided to part ways.

“It is with sadness that Alex and I would like to state that we will be separating for now,” Hendrix wrote on Instagram.

“We are determined to ensure our beautiful daughter Harper-Rose continues to receive this unconditional love and nurturing she deserves from both of us.

“Thank you to our followers and friends who have supported us through the highs and lows over the years.”

Hendrix had moved to Melbourne after being paired with Garner on the 2015 season of Married At First Sight.
