MAFS star Jules claims girls’ night was worse than viewers saw
While fans were appalled by the behaviour from Jessika and Martha, what really happened was much worse, one contestant has claimed.
After last night’s episode it’s safe to say Jessika Power has cemented her status as one of Married At First Sight’s villains this season.
But according to Jules Robinson, viewers didn’t see the worst of what happened during the girls’ night, with much of the drama edited out.
During the boozy night Jessika was feeling the heat as she was quizzed over her decision to stay with husband Mick Gould for another week despite admitting their romantic relationship was over.
In an attempt to hide her affair with Dan Webb, who is “married” to Tamara Joy, Jessika decided to tell Ning Surasiang her husband Mark Scrivens had been “lying” to her.
“He lies to you, and Mick and Mark have both said after this experiment ends they’re going to f**k a whole bunch of b**ches,” Jessika claimed.
Ning was left visibly upset by Jessika’s claims, deciding to put on hold her plans to get intimate with Mark until she could find out the truth.
Jessika’s cruel comment, which was backed up by Martha Kalifatidis, caused both women to trend out on Twitter as viewers called out their “disgusting” behaviour.
In an Instagram post about the girls’ night, Jules responded to a fan who believed the editing had probably made Jessika and Martha’s behaviour look worse than it was.
“This was edited. It was worse. Trust me!” Jules responded, adding: “As in it was a lot more awful, and I said a lot more.”
Ning also spoke about the infamous girls’ night, telling 9 Honey she felt humiliated by Jessika’s comments.
“Once the rumour was out in front of all the girls, I was embarrassed,” Ning said. “I think this should have been discussed privately. I don’t believe Mark wanted to sleep with anyone else, I trusted him in that.
“But him being in the experiment for the wrong reasons hit me hard. I don’t believe anything Jess says because she contradicts herself all the time, but I do believe Mick.”
Married At First Sight continues tonight 7.30pm on Channel 9.
