Jessika and Martha blasted over ‘appalling’ lies to Ning

Jessika dropped a cruel bombshell last night in an attempt to deflect from her affair with Dan — and viewers are fed up.

The internet turned on Married At First Sight’s Jessika Power and Martha Kalifatidis last night, calling the duo disgusting and saying it was time for them to be removed from our TV screens.

Jessika was blasted by viewers after sharing cruel claims about Ning Surasiang’s husband Mark Scrivens in order to hide her affair with Dan Webb. And Martha was criticised for supporting Jessika’s lies.

During Tuesday night’s episode, Jessika’s secret relationship was close to being exposed as the admin officer was grilled over her reasons for staying in the experiment during a girls’ night out.

The other brides were unconvinced by Jessika’s claims, which were backed up by Martha, that she was staying in order to “build a friendship” with Mick Gould.

“Jess and Mick should have left weeks ago. By this stage now, if your relationship is not working, just leave,” Jules Robinson said.

The girls also discussed Ning’s plans to finally get intimate with Mark, with the hairdresser revealing her hopes to take things to the next level later that night.

“At the moment I have a lot of trust in Mark. I have the feels,” Ning admitted. “Look, I just feel like I need to have sex before the commitment ceremony and then that will wake me up.”

But chat soon turned back to why Jessika was still on the show, causing her to come up with a distraction in order to “shift the focus”.

“Ning, things that Mick has brought up about you and Mark, they’re not nice,” Jessika said.

“He lies to you and Mick and Mark have both said after this experiment ends, they’re going to f**k a whole bunch of b**ches.”

Ning was visibly upset and stunned by Jessika’s revelation and said she wouldn’t be able to trust Mark after what was said.

“It was like a little bit of an ambush. But I feel like this information isn’t something that you can just pull out of a hat. She doesn’t have my best interests at heart but I do feel like you know, what does Jess have to lose?” Ning said.

“We’re not best friends. I’m not going to lose a friendship. You know, maybe she is telling me the truth.”

Jessika maintained she was telling the truth about Mark which saw Ning decide to cool her relationship with her “husband” until she could confront him about it later.

Viewers weren’t happy about Jessika’s comments about Mark, branding it “a new low” and Ning’s reaction to the news heartbreaking. But they were also furious at Martha, calling her a “disappointing human” for “sitting there and watching Jessika lie her arse off to Ning“.
