MAFS: Shocking incident we missed at Ines and Bronson’s wedding

Bronson kept calm as new “wife” Ines threw sledges at him last night — but if he’d known what else was going on, he’d have quit right then.

Plenty made us cringe at our TV screens during Ines and Bronson’s awkward wedding last night on Married At First Sight - but there was reportedly something much worse playing out off-camera.

From the moment Ines reached Bronson at the end of the aisle and immediately requested he remove his eyebrow ring, the situation became increasingly hostile - with the bride making her feelings toward her new male stripper/entrepreneur “husband” aggressively clear.

Viewers were quick to slam Ines, describing her on Twitter as a “nasty piece of work” and “horrible”.

While Bronson managed to stay good-humoured throughout the onslaught, he’s now revealed that there was another conversation going on at the reception which — had he known about it at the time — would have made him instantly walk out.

“I know (Ines’) friends were racist towards my mate, which I didn’t find out until later on,” he told 9 Honey.

“If I knew that, I would have left the wedding straight away. I know my family and friends wanted me to leave that night. They wanted me to get on a bus and leave with them and go home.”

Meanwhile, during their post-ceremony photos, Ines refused to allow Bronson near her and barked at him if he got too close.

Reflecting on the trainwreck shoot, Bronson admitted he’d found her behaviour incredibly confusing.

“I was taken aback. When she kissed me on the aisle she shoved her tongue down my throat, which I wasn’t expecting at all. I was expecting a handshake,” he explained.

“Then when it came to the photos she kept making comments like ‘Don’t bloody touch me,’ ‘Get your hands off me’, ‘Do I have to touch him?’ and I was weirded out. I wasn’t sure how she could go from sticking her tongue down my throat to being very rude. That was before I told her about my previous job as a stripper.”

Married At First Sight continues 7.30pm tonight on Nine.
