Married At First Sight success story Jules and Cam reveal they’re expecting their first child together.
There’s officially a MAFS baby on the way.
Last year’s romantic success story from the controversial experiment, newlyweds Cam Merchant and Jules Robinson, have announced they’re expecting their first child together.
Jules, who is 16 weeks into her pregnancy, opened up exclusively to Stellar, available in today’s Sunday Telegraph and Sunday Herald Sun,about the exciting news.

“I honestly thought it was going to come with a fight,” said 37-year-old Jules, who explained she thought she might have difficulty conceiving.
“Because of my age, I had done all the hormone testing, the egg count … so much is instilled that you’re going to struggle because of your age … On the flip side, I think my saving grace was because all my focus was on launching my Figur shapewear line, it wasn’t the centre of my universe,” the reality star said.
“I wasn’t obsessing over it. And for that, I’m so grateful,” she told the magazine.
She went on to share that she had “manifested” for an entire year before the positive test result, which she received in January this year, after tying the knot in November 2019.
“I did manifest for the whole of 2019 that I wanted to be pregnant. I had January in my mind and kept picturing myself pregnant in January, and that is when I found out.”
Recalling the day she found out, the soon-to-be mum said she felt unusually sick, so decided to take a test.
Upon reading the result together as a couple, Cam – who was open about wanting a family soon during the experiment – said it “didn’t sink in straight away.”
“We were so excited and just kept repeating to each other “two lines, two lines” (on the test). It definitely didn’t sink in straight away,” the former MAFS groom said.
Jules added that after her first doctor’s appointment, she was beside herself with joy.
“Once it was all confirmed, I bawled out of pure joy and happiness. To create a baby with the man you love, there is no greater gift, and Cam will be one incredible father.”
The couple have decided to keep the baby’s gender a surprise, though Cam has a feeling he’s having a son.
As for her cravings, Jules says it’s “honey on toast and Weet-Bix.”
The legally-binding nuptials between the couple, who first met at the end of Married At First Sight aisle, was telecast on A Current Affair last year.
Since the wedding the couple have been at the centre of non-stop pregnancy rumours, which Jules says she’s happy to see the back of.
“This is probably my 12th child now,” she joked.
“They’ve said we’re having twins, that we’re getting divorced, I’m an alcoholic. We’ve heard it all.
“We became public property on MAFS. I feel a lot of people were really invested in our relationship.
“I guess that’s what you get when you sign up to a reality show,” she said, adding: “But you take the good and the bad, and I think there’s a lot more love than hate”.
When asked about this year’s wild group of contestants, Cam threw some slight shade their way.
“We both just hope someone finds love like we did. That’s what this show is about, right? It’s all about love,” Jules said, to which Cam replied: “Well, it’s supposed to be about love.”
Cam and Jules’ joyous announcement marks the second time the marriage experiment has led to parenthood.
Season 1 couple Zoe Hendrix and Alex Garner, who have since split, welcomed their daughter Harper-Rose in 2016.
In February, Cyrell Paule from Cam and Jules’ season gave birth to a son, Boston Eden Dally, with her partner Love Island star Eden Dally.
