MAFS bombshell: ‘Everything is an act’

IS HE or isn’t he? After weeks of speculation about whether MAFS’ groom Troy Delmege is still on his “v-plates”, we finally know the real story.

TROY Delmege and Ashley Irvin’s breakup looked amicable enough as it played out on our screens on Married At First Sight last night — but according to her sister, he’s “absolutely full of it”.

Speaking to Fitzy and Wippa on Tuesday, Summer Irvin dropped plenty of bombshells about Troy and Ashley’s relationship — and was ruthless when asked her opinion of him.

“He thinks everyone loves him and that they should love him, that he’s the complete package,” she told the radio hosts, adding that while the rumours that Troy is an actor aren’t true, “he’s so fake — he’s putting on an act.”

“Within five minutes [of meeting him] I was like ‘No, no way’ ... Everyone thinks he’s this nice guy, but he’s not — he’s really not. He’s fooling everyone and I feel bad my sister got dragged along.”

Summer also set the record straight on rumours that Troy’s a virgin, as claimed by his sister.

“No he’s definitely not ... him and his sister haven’t spoken in about 10 years — they’re estranged,” she said.

Meanwhile, affter weeks of waiting to find out how the hell Troy went from “in love” with Ashley to groping fellow contestant Carly Bowyer in a Melbourne park, it appears all will be revealed during tonight’s reunion dinner party.

“Is [tonight’s episode] the one where Troy and Carly profess their love for each other?” Fitzy asked Summer.

“It’s all out now. Troy’s like Dean 2.0,” Summer replied.

It was a significant sledge, given that Dean Wells became one of the most unpopular Married contestants of all time after cheating on Tracey Jewel with another bride earlier this season.

While Troy and Ashley parted on good terms after their dramatic breakup, it appears she’s not feeling as friendly towards his new girlfriend.

“Ashley’s really good mates with everyone [from the show], she’s probably seen 90 per cent of them ... bar Carly,” Summer said.

“I don’t think Ashley’s bitter, it’s just like ... ‘Have some class, just wait a couple of weeks until after the show.’ There’s only one reason you’d do that, and it’s to draw attention to yourself, for more publicity ... so keep it in your pants.”
