MAFS: Carly Bowyer opens up about her relationship with Troy Delmege

AFTER photos of the two kissing surfaced, Carly Bowyer has opened up about her feelings towards the larger-than-life groom.

HE’S definitely not who the experts matched her up with, but Married at First Sight’s Carly Bowyer says she is smitten with the quirky and possibly, few beers short of a sixpack groom Troy Delmege.

“Physically Troy is my type,” the 32-year-old told TV Week. “I do go for that preppy, private school looking guy.”

This might explain why Carly was papped in a Melbourne park a few weeks ago, with Troy’s tongue down her throat and his hands on her, um, well you get the drift.

In Sunday night’s episode, there were a number of walkouts including Carly’s angry confrontation with millionaire husband Justin, after the controversial ‘boys’ night incident.

“I’d like you to take this ring back,” she hissed at Justin before the soft-serve businessman reciprocated those feelings by holding up a “Leave” card.

While this get out of jail free card was a welcome escape for the bride, she has found more than a rebound guy in 35-year-old Troy.

“We seemed to be the ones in the relationships who were putting in a lot more than we were getting. I think we both sympathised with each other a lot about that,” Carly said.

Meanwhile, it looks like the light bulb moment for Troy was during the “wife-swap” discussion the boys had in episode 23.

But Carly has rebuked any suggestion she also had feelings for Tracey’s husband Dean. “Not at all,” she laughed.

While she refused to speak with Justin after the show ended, Carly says she is okay with him wanting to stay in touch.

“I just think, ‘What’s the point in harbouring hard feelings?’” she said.

We wonder if Ashley and Tracey are that willing to put their differences (and TV husbands) behind them.
