Dean warns Sean off bringing up texts on Married At First Sight finale

“TRUST me mate, you do not wanna go down that path,” was not enough warning for this Married At First Sight love triangle to explode.

AS crazy as things got during the Married At First Sight finale, Dean Wells did an honourable thing by defended his own honour over a sexting scandal with his ex, Tracey Jewel.

The 40-year-old told Nine’s TheFIX he had “no choice” but to speak up after copping a barrage of abuse from Tracey’s new beau Sean Thomsen at the reunion dinner party the night before.

Dean even went so far as to warn Sean “not bring that up anymore”, but did he listen? Hell no.

“I warned them both the night before,” he told TheFIX. “I said ‘Guys, you’re completely on the wrong track accusing me with this text message business. I really advise you to not bring that up anymore because it’s going to come bite you in the a*** because I’ve done nothing wrong, and if anything Tracey has been sending me very risqué messages and Sean, trust me mate, you do not wanna go down that path. Let’s not talk about it anymore.’”

But during Wednesday night’s finale episode of MAFS, Sean could not help himself - he felt compelled to bring it up, obviously irked by Dean being still “on the scene” with Tracey.

“I had no choice but to tell my side of the story and stand up for myself,” Dean told TheFIX. “I never encouraged Tracey to send me those kind of messages. She was just sending them to me randomly and that’s between me and Tracey.

He also alleges Sean looked through Tracey’s phone messages without her consent.

“I think Sean went through her phone and secretly went through her texts and saw some messages that Tracey and I have between each other which are really extreme,” he told TheFIX.

He went on to say he and Tracey “have a pretty extreme relationship” and say “some pretty hectic things to each other that not many other people would understand”.
