‘Brutal brat’: Fans beg MAFS wife Alyssa to leave the show

Viewers were left shocked by a MAFS wife’s outrageous display of emotional manipulation against her husband, with many calling for her to go.

Fed-up viewers have begged Married At First Sight wife Alyssa to end her relationship with husband Duncan and leave the show.

It comes following what many called an outrageous display of emotional manipulation against him during the show’s final dinner party on Wednesday night.

When asked how he felt about her, Duncan began to sing her praises. However, it wasn’t long before she began to interrupt, cutting him down.

“I feel warm, I feel close,” he said. “I love how you make me feel when it’s good.

She didn’t take well to this, firing back with an oddly specific response: “When it’s good. Which is what, 56 per cent of the time.”

He said: “Yeah. … Even just then, I’m just describing some things about how I like about you and you just cut me down.”

Expert John said of the situation: “It’s emotionally draining for him, isn’t it? To try and say what he wants to say”.

Duncan said: “I think you’ve got amazing, wonderful traits. I’ve had an amazing connection with you from the start. How I feel about you I could talk about it for days. But I’m also concerned about literally what just happened.

“My biggest concern is the argument that we’ve had on this experiment, the things we haven’t seen eye-to-eye on would continue to happen in the real world.”

“Like what,” she asked.

“Whether you … umm … view bad situations the same way,” he replied.

“I need you to be really specific here,” she pushed. “Stuff like talking really high level, you need to be real specific.”

John said: “She wants him to be direct and he can’t be because she shoots him down.”

Fellow expert Alessandra said. “And once again he can’t win. He can’t do something right. She’s putting him in the position to be the one who maybe rejects her so she can say it was him.”

He clarified with: “A healthy relationship. The last month was really hard and challenging. I’m hoping that that is mainly based on us being inside of the experiment.”

She then told him “I feel like you have a very high expectations” and to “just put yourself in my shoes for once”.

Fans were appalled at the way she treated Duncan, yet again, calling on her to leave the relationship.
