‘Awful human’: Fans turn on Married At First Sight bride Tayla

The shocking behaviour of new bride Tayla has been slammed by fans, who have called her an “awful human being”.

Fans have turned against new bride Tayla over her treatment of husband Hugo on Married At First Sight, calling her “the most toxic yet”.

The couple have been finding it rather challenging to connect, however their relationship took a tense turn on Monday night’s show due to Tayla’s actions.

The episode began with Hugo asking to sleep in their bed, but Tayla refused and demanded he stay on the couch.

“I just want to sleep in a bed, that’s not too much to ask,” Hugo said, reminding her that they are “both adults”.

“I think it would just be too much for me,” Tayla responded, saying the idea gives her “a bit of a shiver”.

“I don’t wanna hurt your feelings, but you know, I’m probably not going to take that into account,” she continued.

“So, hang on, you’ve got the self-awareness you don’t wanna hurt my feelings, but you’ve made a choice you’re still not gonna take them into account?” he said.

“Yeah,” she said, laughing before making a rather ironic comment about him being a man-baby.

She also refused to make space for him in their wardrobe, even suggesting he use the section dedicated to the internet box for his clothes.

The duo were then given a hot or not challenge, where they were given headshots featuring the faces of the other husbands and wives and told to rank them in order of hotness.

Tayla surprisingly placed her husband in first place, despite spending the whole week saying that she’s not attracted to him.

Hugo then got his revenge on Tayla by placing her second last.

“I wanna put you first. Hundred per cent you’re in the top three,” he said. “But … I mean … do you reckon you deserve to be put at the top with how you’ve been treating me?”

She then sulked on the couch and lied about having toothache.

Viewers were furious with the way Tayla treated Hugo, with many calling her behaviour awful.
