HE was booted off Dancing With the Stars, but not before Mark Holden proudly flashed his paunch. And no, it wasn’t a stunt gut.

Executing an earlier promise — or threat — to disrobe, Holden appeared to menace the judges in his ‘Vladimir Putin-meets-Bert Newton’ costume, prompting host Daniel McPherson to interject, “Excuse me, half-naked crazy man”.

After dancing the paso doble to ACDC’s Highway to Hell, his dance partner Jessica Prince gaffa-taped Holden’s mouth shut, hoping to prevent a repeat of last week’s antics. Speaking after the show, Holden said he wasn’t nervous about tonight’s performance, and had been preparing for the role “for 60 years”.

Holden, a former-reality TV judge and barrister picked crowd favourite Ricki-Lee Coulter to take out the competition.

“I’d pick Ricki-Lee (to win),” he said. “She’s learned from the old dude and gone into character. She’s a quick learner, the old Ricki-Lee.”

Last week, after the clown-themed dancefloor disaster Holden labelled “Bobo-gate” he creepily rubbed himself against McPherson, saying, “Do you like balloons Danny? I could get you a balloon Danny”.
