LIVE: Masked Singer 2020: Puppet unveiled as Red Wiggle Simon Pryce

He was one of the most hotly debated contestants all season - but The Masked Singer's mysterious puppet has finally been revealed.

Puppet unveiled as Red Wiggle Simon Pryce (The Masked Singer)

Only four contestants remain on The Masked Singer - and as we enter finals week, chances are you've got a pretty good idea who most of them are, right?

First, the most obvious contender: as most viewers picked before the first episode had even aired, the Queen is 100% Kate Miller-Heidke. That voice is unmistakable. Most viewers agree the Frillneck is musical theatre star Eddie Perfect, while after a mysterious start in the competition, the Bushranger has firmed up as actress and singer Bonnie Anderson in most people's minds. As for the smooth crooner Puppet - that's gotta be Red Wiggle Simon Pryce, right?

Well yep, it was. Check out our liveblog below for all the action from tonight's episode - including Pryce's unmasking and elimination from the competition. That leaves Queen, Bushranger and Frillneck competing as this year's top three.

Updates

Tonight's unmasked celebrity is...

Simon Pryce! As predicted by so many (including me right back in episode one), the puppet was the Red Wiggle himself all along.

Dannii was the only judge to guess Simon correctly.

"I had such a great time – it's been incredible," Simon said. "But these are a little trickier with a few more words than Wiggles songs."

Who's through to the grand finale?

They're drawing this out. All I know is if the Queen's booted tonight, we take to the streets.

The Queen takes the stage

Tonight's clues: "The sound of white has been very good to me. Where is my king? Perhaps there was a legal separation. But the wedding was something special. Even if it's not forever. I have been accused of having no seriousness. I rule the whole country with fairness. Although I do prefer the metropolitan area. I am the Queen. I am independent and a master of all I survey."

Kate Miller-Heidke delivers a gorgeous rendition of Robyn's modern classic Dancing On My Own. That 'sound of white' clue – was that a red herring to make some people think of Missy Higgins? If so it didn't work – the Queen finishes with a sky-high operatic solo that'd make you were back watching Kate at Eurovision.

After that incredible performance by one of the country's most distinctive voice, Jackie O remains convinced it's… Lisa from The Veronicas. Girrrl. Thankfully Dannii throws in a guess for KMH.

Time for the Bushranger

The clues: " I've been pretty since the day I was born. You might think that's big-headed, but it's just the way my parents saw me. But I'm tough too. From an early age, I was taught how to take the knocks and come back strong. It's not the size of the dog in the fight that matters. Especially when they have a tin lid like this. I'm a country girl at heart, at home in paddocks and barns."

Barns, Tin Lids – so many people have insisted this is Bonnie Anderson, but could it be former Tin Lids member Mahalia Barnes? Whoever she is, she's got a wonderful voice, almost out Ariana-ing Ariana Grande with a soaring rendition of her hit One Last Time.

Dannii Minogue guesses Jess Mauboy – a very popular guess on social media since week one. Jackie O's torn between Mauboy and Bonnie Anderson.

Frillneck's up

Tonight's clues: "… I've been known to put audiences in a spin (Eddie Perfect wrote the Shane Warne musical). I've even put a few words into our Kylie's mouth (he also wrote the theme song for Kylie Minogue's ill-fated Australian tourism campaign).

Nobody really knows what's going on inside my head. Sometimes I don't know what's going on in there. Is there an ARIA in my future?

I think those chances are sunk. The ARIA days might be well behind me. Sometimes you have to rock out and sometimes you have to play it safe. Actually I never play it safe."

Frillneck sings the Crowded House classic Don't Dream It's Over, and sings it (Eddie) perfectly.

Viewers are convinced by this point:

And the judges seem to have finally joined the dots too, with Jackie O leading the charge in insisting it's Eddie Perfect.

.

The puppet sings

Tonight's clues for the Puppet: "My early career was in the shadows, underplayed. Then pow, all eyes were on me around the world.

Now my work has a new base. I'm not shy. I can't afford to be. But at least I'm not heading south anymore. I've made some big moves in my life and there are big moves to come. I used to be a puppet of the night, but things change and now I sing a rainbow."

The Puppet croons Ricky Martin's Livin La Vida Loca – and those close have viewers still convinced he's Simon from the Wiggles:

The judges are still stabbing wildly in the dark. Urzila Carlson's convinced it's Tom Gleisner, which… nup.

But wait! Dannii's finally guessed the name viewers have been screaming for weeks now – red Wiggle, Simon Pryce. I think you might be onto something, Dannii.

Who's singing what

What we can expect tonight, according to Ten's TV listings: " Bushranger bangs out Ariana Grande, Puppet sings a Ricky Martin favourite and Frillneck sings an adored Crowded House tune." OK, but what about Kate Miller-Hei- I mean, 'Queen'?
