Keeping Up With The Kardashians has gifted us many heartbreaking, jaw-dropping and hilarious moments over the years. Here, we reflect on them all.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians has gifted us many jaw-dropping moments over the past 14 years.
The intimate glimpse into the life of the world’s most famous non-royal family is one of the longest-running reality shows in TV history since launching in 2007, with the family filming more than 250 episodes across 20 seasons.
The iconic show will come to an end on Friday, after Kim Kardashian told Instagram followers last September that the family had reached the “difficult decision” to say goodbye.

From making us feel better about our at-times torrid relationships with our own families, to airing several in-depth discussions on some of the decade’s biggest Kardashian-related headlines, here are the most memorable scandals brought to our living rooms via the powers of Kris Jenner.
Kim breaks down over Kanye divorce, 2021
In a dramatic episode aired this week, Kim publicly addressed her divorce for the first time, declaring she feels like a “f**king failure” over her marriage to Kanye breaking down.
The mother-of-four, who married Kanye in 2014, also gave an insight as to why they grew apart.
“He should have a wife that supports his every move and travels and does everything and I can’t,” she said.
“I feel like a f**king failure that it’s a third marriage. Yeah, I feel like a f**king loser.
“But I can’t even think about that, I want to be happy.”
Kardashian was previously married to Damon Thomas in 2000 and Kris Humphries in 2011, a union which infamously lasted 72 days.

How Kim handled Kanye’s disastrous presidential rally
Kim’s private handling of Kanye’s 2020 presidential bid, dramatic campaign rally and Twitter rampage was finally revealed in March.
Kanye, 43, officially announced his presidential bid in July, holding his first campaign rally weeks later where he emotionally revealed he and Kim nearly aborted their daughter North, now 7.
Afterwards, he fled to Wyoming where he posted a barrage of tweets slamming Kim and Kris Jenner, declaring he had been trying to get a divorce.
Following months of silence, we finally got to see Kim struggling with Kanye’s behaviour, as well as the media fallout.
“It’s no secret that everyone sees things in the media about my life with Kanye, but I’ve always been really respectful in not talking about issues that Kanye and I have,” Kim said in a confessional.
“I mean, you guys clearly see them on Twitter.
“So I’m still going to choose to not really talk about it here.”
Afterwards, speaking to her sister Khloe and friend Malika Haqq, Kim said she was “trying to support” Kanye, but was clearly overwhelmed by the events.
She described the situation as "frustrating" but was reluctant to talk about it on camera.
Kim and Kourtney’s physical fight, 2020
Nothing quite prepared us for the bust up between Kourtney and Kim in the season 18 premiere.
Viewers have grown accustomed to the sisters fighting over the years, but things reached fever pitch between the two women this year when things became physical.
It all kicked off after Kim accused Kourtney of not putting in effort when it came to filming, with Kourtney throwing coconut water at her sister before launching at her with her arms outstretched. It led to Kim kicking and slapping her older sister, prompting Khloe to jump in and break up the row.
“If I were on my deathbed, I would still show up,” Kim had said. “Mom is so used to … me and Khloe, whenever, if we’re sick … (Kourtney) you don’t care about stuff.”
“You act like I don’t do sh*t. You have this narrative in your mind. No, no, no, I will literally f**k you up if you mention it again,” Kourtney responded.

Paris robbery recount, 2017
In a heartbreaking segment from season 13, Kim spoke publicly for the first time about the terrifying moments she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris in 2016, saying she thought she would be raped and killed.
Opening up to her sisters Kourtney and Khloe about the traumatic events Kim said she told the robbers: “I have babies, please tell them. They can’t understand me. Tell them … please, I have a family, like, let me live”.
Kim said one of the robbers taped her mouth shut and grabbed her legs.
“I had no clothes on under. He pulled me towards him at the front of the bed and I thought … this is the moment, they’re going to rape me,” Kardashian said.
She said she “mentally prepped” herself fearing she would be raped. “And then, he didn’t,” Kardashian said.
“He duct taped my legs together and then they had the gun up to me – I knew that was the moment, they’re just totally going to shoot me in the head.”
Kardashian said she thought of her sister, Kourtney, who would find her body if they killed her.
“I just prayed that Kourtney was going to have a normal life after she sees my dead body on the bed,” Kardashian said.
“I’m not going to make it out of here. That was the last thought. Then they picked me up and put me in the bathroom and ran.”
Kris at Kim’s Playboy shoot, 2007
No phrase from the show comes quite as iconic as Kris Jenner’s “You’re doing amazing sweetie” moment during Kim’s nude Playboy shoot in 2007.
Over the past decade it has became a generational catchphrase and meme, with Kris even having it trademarked for clothes and makeup earlier this year.
It popped up in a recent Instagram photo taken on the set of Cardi B’s WAP video, and who could forget when the 64-year-old parodied her own role as momager for Ariana Grande’s Thank u, Next music video, taking on the role of Regina’s mum in Mean Girls.
But nothing beats the original. Here it is in all its glory:
Jordan Woods/Tristan Thompson cheating saga, 2019
It was one of the ugliest cheating scandals to come out of Hollywood.
That’s because it involved Kylie’s best friend of many years, Jordyn Woods, who kissed Tristan Thompson, Khloe Kardashian’s partner and the father of their child True, 2.
Even a part-time Kardashian fan would be aware Jordyn was essentially considered a member of the family. She regularly featured in KUWTK, starred in Kylie’s spin-off reality series, and was even chosen by Khloe to model in campaigns for her fashion line, Good American.
During the first episode of the two part finale of KUWTK in 2019, viewers watched as Khloe discovered that Jordyn had hooked up with Tristan.
The 16th season finale – which finally saw the reality star unleash fury over the situation – finished as the show’s most-watched episode in nearly three years.
“This sh*t is so f***ing wack, that these f***ing bitches think they can go ahead and f**k our men,” a furious Khloe had said to her mum over the phone, before FaceTiming Thompson’s friend Savas.
“Tristan! F**k you if you can hear me,” the mother of one shouted through the phone. “F**k you!”
When Tristan claimed he didn‘t recall anything from the night, Khloe exploded: “Liar! They both admitted it to me. Both of them,” Khloe is seen yelling in the wild scene.
In recent months, reports have emerged that Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are giving it another crack.
Caitlyn Jenner comes out, 2015
Kris Jenner’s ex of 25 years, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, came out as Caitlyn on the cover of Vanity Fair in 2015.
Despite seemingly having a loving and happy relationship for many years, and raising their big brood together, Caitlyn came out swinging at her ex-wife in her interview.
In the interview, she hurled blame on Kris for the breakdown of their marriage.
“Twenty per cent was gender and 80 per cent was the way I was treated,” Caitlyn said of Kris.
Kris was seen reacting to the story on KUWTK four months later, saying: “We had this great life and not one nice word,” Kris said to Kim over the phone. “It just sums up that I’m this piece of sh*t person who was mean.”
The series also showed Kris meeting Caitlyn for the first time, bringing up the same issues with her.

Scott shoves money down waiter’s throat, 2009
While the recent years of KUWTK have been brimming with drama and scandal surrounding the core family members, in the early years of the show, it was Scott Disick’s behaviour at front and centre in many episodes.
In one episode in season 4, the family travelled to Las Vegas, where Scott went off the rails. After being cut off by the waiter at Kris’ request, Disick exploded at the restaurant worker, shoving a $100 bill in his mouth and yelling: “Shut your f***ing mouth”.
Kim’s jail ride selfie, 2009
Another KUWTK moment immortalised in memes came in season 3, when the family took a road trip to drop Khloe to jail for violating probation from a DUI arrest in 2007. A standard family day out.
Ever the queen of coining a catchphrase, they don’t come quite as perfectly delivered as when Kris - in her bug-eyed noughties sunglasses - said to her daughter: “Kim can you stop taking pictures of yourself, your sister is going to jail.”

‘Don’t be f***king rude’, 2008
While this year’s physical Kardashian fight came as a shock to many, it isn’t the first time Kim has hurled punches – or handbags – at her sisters.
Back in a season 2 ep of the series, Kim’s temper bubbled over while her sisters were having dinner, with the star bursting into the room brandishing an oversized handbag and yelling; “Don’t be f***ing rude”.
It all started in oh-so Kardashian fashion when Kim brought her sisters along to the dealership to pick up her new Bentley.
Check out the vintage Kardashian brawl below:
Kylie pole dancing, 2007
She may be a glamorous beauty mogul now, but there was a time Kylie Jenner was just the overly-excitable and slightly annoying little sister on the show.
There’s one memory even she can’t help but cringe at, which happens to be one she’s known the most for: her ‘Girls Gone Wild’ parody.
When asked to recall the one moment she’s the most embarrassed about from her early days in the show, the 23-year-old was quick to tell E! News it was indeed the pole-dancing moment.
“The stripper pole was so embarrassing. I wish it never happened,” she said.
Another scene at beginning of the first season saw Kylie – then just nine – shock the family with her expert moves.
Kim’s earring reality check, 2011
Who could forget Kim wailing in Bora Bora after losing her diamond earring in the ocean, prompting a true moment of realness from her big sister Kourtney?
Even if you’re not a fan of the show, you’ll know this one.
After being tossed into the water by Kris Humphries (the NBA star she was married to for 72 days), Kim realised she had lost an uninsured $US75,000 ($103,760) earring.
Upon hearing the commotion, Kourtney had emerged from a luxury hut holding a toddler on her hip, to say, deadpan, “Kim, there’s people that are dying.”
Kris’s drunk tattoo, 2008
Anyone with siblings has surely wondered which child is their parents’ favourite – but in this episode, Kris seemingly forgot her son actually existed.
After a drunken night on tequila shots, Kris Jenner had Kendall and Kylie’s names tattooed on her back.
“I have like 32 children so how do you get all their names? You don’t,” she told the camera.
“And you know what, I’m not so happy with the older kids now, so Kendall and Kylie get names and Kim and Kourtney and Khloe don’t.”
… No Rob?
It was yet another truly iconic Kris moment.
Kim and Kanye clash over Met Gala dress, 2019
It was one of the most talked-about dresses at the Met Gala. But Kim Kardashian’s Mugler ‘naked’ dress caused a huge row with her husband, Kanye West.
Ahead of the Met Gala last year, Kim’s skin-tight Thierry Mugler dress caused a major fight with her rapper ex-husband, leaving Kim with severe anxiety before the couple attended Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour’s annual Costume Institute benefit.
Jesus Is King rapper West, 42, was clearly not impressed by the revealing design.
“I just made this transition from being a rapper, looking at all these girls, looking at my wife,” West said, in the rant which aired on an episode last year. “Like, ‘Oh, my girl needs to be like the other girls, showing her body off.’”
And West didn’t stop there. “I didn’t realise that that was affecting my soul and my spirit as someone that’s married and loved, and the father of now, what – about to be four kids?”
“A corset is like a form of underwear,” West said. “It’s hot. It’s like, it’s hot for who, though?”
‘Kourtney is the least exciting to look at’, 2018
The sister insult to end all sister insults.
In the premiere episode of season 15, while prepping for the Christmas card photo shoot the family does every year, Kim grew extremely irritated at Kourtney’s scheduling needs, sledging her sister’s appearance in the process.
“I need Kourtney to not be so f***ing annoying with a stick up her ass like she f***ing runs this sh*t, because she doesn’t. She’s the least exciting to look at,” she yelled as Kourtney stormed out after a fiery clash.
Ouch.
Kim reveals she took ecstacy at her wedding, 2018
Kim admitted in a 2018 episode that she was high on ecstasy when she filmed her infamous sex tape and married her first husband at age 19.
Kim, who has previously said she didn’t touch drugs or drink, made the surprise admission about her late teens while chatting to Scott and Kendall.
“I got married on ecstasy,” Kim said. “I did ecstasy once and I got married, I did it again and I made a sex tape. Like everything bad would happen.”
“You were high on ecstasy when you did the sex tape?” Scott asked.
“Absolutely!” Kim replied. “Everyone knows it, like my jaw was shaking the whole time.”
Kim secretly eloped with first husband, music producer Damon Thomas, in 2000 when she was just 19. The couple split in 2003 and that same year Kim made her now famous sex tape with then boyfriend Ray J.
The tape was released in 2007, coinciding with the first season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
The show of course went on to launch Kim as one of the world’s most successful beauty icons, as well as kickstarting the modelling careers of sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner and documenting the transition of Kris Jenner’s ex spouse, Caitlyn Jenner. Along the way, the family have accumulated a collective net worth of several billion dollars.
It will all come to an end tomorrow, with the announcement dropping after a tumultuous few months for Kim and rapper-turned-Presidential hopeful Kanye West.
So far, the final season of KUWTK has documented the family’s wild 2020 – including the fallout from Kanye’s very public sledging of his wife and mother-in-law. and the couple's headline-grabbing split.
The finale is set to tie-up loose ends and celebrate their milestone moments on air over the many years, with many tears expected as the curtain falls.
