Kim Kardashian: Reality star unrecognisable in throwback Instagram photo

The reality TV star has revealed the surprising trend she followed back when she was a teen.

Kim Kardashian looks totally unrecognisable as a grungy teen in throwback snaps from the 1990s.

The 38-year-old star shocked followers with the insight to her youth — and the casual look is worlds apart from her usual glammed-up selfies.

She shared the photos to promote her new ’90s inspired make-up range, explaining how it was her own teenage look that inspired the collection.

Posting to her Instagram Story, Kim shared a snap of herself from the era, dressed in a baggy white T-shirt.

Her jeans are such a loose fit that they have fallen below her hips and she has completed the look with chunky trainers, and a black choker.

Kim’s hair is styled in a high ponytail, with strands falling either side.

She is wearing dark eye make-up and a deep berry lip colour, strikingly similar to the items available in her new range.

The teen wore baggy jeans and an oversized T-shirt.

The mother-of-three wrote: “Beeper, choker, dark lip, Adidas, fat laces.”

Another image shows young Kim in the same outfit as she sits in a car, staring moodily at the camera.

Kim previously confessed that she is particularly excited about the ’90s-themed collection because it reminds her of the make-up she would wear to school growing up.

She explained: “I used to wear this burgundy lip all the time in high school!”
